“Ghostly Sweets for the Holiday” Contest

I was working in the library late one night
When my eyes beheld an eerie sight
For my    biology from the table began to rise
And suddenly, to my surprise…

Take a break from all the “ghooling” madness of the holiday season and come check out the Library.  In addition to having all the materials and studying tools you need to get ready for all of your “beastly” projects, we are sponsoring a holiday contest for all students! Come check out the jar of goodies located at the Circulation counter and make your best guess.  The prize for the closest guess is the jar of goodies of course!  The lucky winner will be announced on Monday, October 31st (Igor not included).

Your Homecoming pictures are here.  You may pick them up in the front office.

Congratulations to Alexa Ankele and Spencer Zepplin who won 1st and 2nd place in the Tattered Cover Banned Book Essay Contest.  They will each receive a cash prize and our school library receives $200.00.  You two rock!

All students attending the Alive at 25 field trip on November 1st must meet at the south cafeteria entrance by the DECA store BY 7:15am on Tuesday, November 1st. Again, you must be there for attendance by 7:15am.  Don’t forget to bring a lunch.

LPS is participating in the NetDay Speak Up 2005 event. NetDay, a national, education technology non-profit organization and Littleton Public Schools invites students to take part in an online survey during the 2005 Speak Up Event. Littleton Public Schools is participating in the online survey to contribute to the national discussion and because we will have access to our aggregated school data. LPS will use this data to inform technology decisions and purchases, to learn how to best provide instruction to today's tech-savvy students, to plan for teacher training, and to stimulate discussion about key technology issues in our community.
To participate, click on the link on the AHS Start Page or the AHS Web Page and follow the directions. The survey should take approximately 15 minutes to complete and is completely anonymous.
