General Announcements

As we go into this fun-filled weekend, the football game, soccer game, parade and dance, be sure to look out for loved ones, remind them personally to buckle up!  Have a safe and wonderful weekend Arapahoe!

Tickets will be on sale for Arapahoe’s Homecoming Football game during lunches today.  You must bring your ID to the game.  Your student athletic pass will get you into the game for free.  If you don’t have a pass you will need to buy a ticket.

You can register for the PSAT in the guidance office today through next Wednesday, October 12th.  The cost for the test is $20.00 and is payable at the time you register.  The test is at Arapahoe on Saturday, October 15th.

For a listing of college reps at AHS THIS/NEXT week, please see the college calendar in the Guidance Center or the white board outside Guidance for the schedule. Interested students please sign up to meet with the rep of your choice.

New  scholarships are arriving daily, come in and check it out.


Rebel Without a Cause tickets on sale during lunch.  Show dates are Oct. 13, 14 and 15 at 7:00 pm. Don't miss it.

Actors, techies and all Thespians check call board for Colorado State Thespian information.  If you want to attend this year's conference see Mr. Earley, ASAP.  You must sign-up this week.
  
Warriors, please check out the lost and found table in the cafeteria during lunch this week for any items you might be missing.







This message is for any student who’s ever written anything in school, or doodled in your notes, or scribbled down a few thoughts about life.  That’s right, this message is for every student here at Arapahoe High School.  You now have the opportunity to contribute your writing and artwork to the best creative arts magazine in the west: the Arapahoe Muse.  We are open for business, now accepting YOUR submissions!  To submit online, go to the Arapahoe homepage under Activities, then click “Muse.”   You can submit hard copies in the library at the front desk.  Show us your work!  You may get published, and we all win!  


Winter Sports Registration is Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday at 2:30 in Room S3.  If you are interested in playing a winter sport you must register.  Please stop by the Athletic Office for registration forms you need them.


Athletics-    

Congrats to Warrior Varsity Volleyball who beat Highlands Ranch in three games at their homecoming match last night.  The Warriors had great defense from Katie Maxey, Jenni Sneden, and Sarah Morse, and several key kills by Kelly Page.  Thanks to all who came to support the team!

Congrats to the Freshmen B volleyball team for defeating Highlands Ranch yesterday. The team only has 4 games left and they are 12 and 2 this season.

Good luck to all members of the Warrior Marching Band who will be performing in the Douglas County Marching Invitational tomorrow!  Arapahoe’s Prelims performance is at 4:00pm at Douglas County High School Stadium.  23 high school marching bands will be competing tomorrow.  Good luck Warrior Band!!
