General Announcements

“Live for something rather than die for nothing.”-General George Patton

In honor of Veterans’ Day, November 11th, we would like to recognize those Americans who sustained injuries or died in the defense of our nation. We would also like to honor the nurses, doctors and medics who devoted themselves to saving the lives of wounded soldiers, and making the deaths of others less painful. Please remember their contributions this Veteran’s Day week. Thanks.

In honor of our Veterans, Arapahoe TSA club will be collecting dollar donations at lunch today. All money collected will go directly to a local Veterans organization. Please help TSA by donating $1 and receive an American flag sticker.

Attention new National Honor Society inductees: Remember that your RSVP forms for the induction ceremony are due this afternoon at 2:30. Turn them in to Mrs. Brachtenbach in the library.

A few of the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office police men and women will be joining us for lunch as well as some of the Littleton Firefighters from Engine number 15. Please show your appreciation for them when you see them in the cafeteria this Friday, November 14.

Attention Chess Players: The First Ever AHS Student/Staff Chess Tournament is scheduled for today after school in room E-3. Please see Mrs. Lobser in the Enrichment Room before noon to verify your participation.
