General Announcements
YOU BETTER WATCH OUT, YOU BETTER NOT CRY, YOU BETTER NOT POUT, I’M TELLING YOU WHY…SANTA CLAUS IS COMING TO TOWN. Yes…Santa is coming to bring a new toy for each boy and girl at Barrett Elementary and the Denver Indian Health and Family Services Center. Today is the kickoff for the AHS Toys for Tots. Help us make a child’s dream come true. Join us by bringing a new toy, priced between $10 and $15, to the Attendance Office. Our goal is 1000 toys. We know Arapahoe can make it happen! Let’s make this a special holiday for the kids.

Attention all FCCLA members: Please plan to meet in room E3 right after school today for a very important meeting. Please plan to stay to make Gifts in a Jar afterwards. See you there!

Today’s the day! DECA members, don’t forget that the Practice Night starts tonight at 5pm. Make sure you’re dressed up and on time!

Tonight, starting at 7pm in the theatre, will be concerto performances by 9 of our finest band musicians! A panel of Colorado Symphony musicians will judge the 9 finalists, and the top 3 soloists will be awarded cash prizes, medals, and trophies at the end of the concert. A special performance of the Mower Flute Concerto as performed by Dr. Claudia Anderson from the Waterloo Symphony, will take place while the scores are being tabulated. You’re all invited to attend - the $5 tickets are available from the Band Office or at the door tonight.

Just a reminder, the Science Bowl team will meet Tuesday, November 18th at 2:30 in room W-101. Please come to the meeting to find out about this great competition!

The yearbook staff will take club pictures this Wednesday and Thursday. Please see your club sponsor or officers for the schedule and details.

Attention students, just a reminder: As the weather changes, please be aware that your HOOD must come down as you enter the building. Also please remember pajama tops and bottoms are not acceptable school attire.
