YOU BETTER WATCH OUT, YOU BETTER NOT CRY, YOU BETTER NOT POUT, I’M TELLING YOU WHY…SANTA CLAUS IS COMING TO TOWN. Yes…Santa is coming to bring a new toy for each boy and girl at Barrett Elementary and the Denver Indian Health and Family Services Center. Help us make a child’s dream come true. Join us by bringing a new toy, priced between $10 and $15, to the Attendance Office. Our goal is 1000 toys. We know Arapahoe can make it happen! Let’s make this a special holiday for the kids.
Congratulations to all of last night’s Concerto Competition performers! Ist place was Madison Munn; 2nd place - Kevin Matthews; and 3rd place – Wes Leffingwell!! Congratulations to all our other outstanding finalists (listed in alphabetical order): Vikky De La Torre, Jordan Flatt, Emily Haller, Emily Haskins, Nicole Jensen, and Maureen Kosse!
The yearbook staff will take club photos after school on Wednesday and Thursday. Please look for schedules posted in the journalism room E-8 and around the school, or see your club sponsor or officers.
The following clubs are scheduled for Wednesday: Drama Club & Drama Advisory Board, Key Club, FBLA, , NHS, FCCLA, TSA, MUSE, Model UN, AWARE, Young Democrats, Young Republicans.
National Honor Society members: Remember that our club picture will be tomorrow after school. Plan to be in the theater by 3:00 p.m.
Attention students, just a reminder: As the weather changes, please be aware that your HOOD must come down as you enter the building. Also please remember pajama tops and bottoms are not acceptable school attire.
Athletics
Congratulations to the Toms. They won first place in their division at the Mile High Dance Championships held on Saturday at the Denver Coliseum. They competed against schools from all over Colorado. Way to go, Toms!
Attention all girl soccer players: Any girl interested in playing for Arapahoe this coming spring must attend a meeting on Tuesday, November 18 at 2:30 in room N-5. Please see Mr. Bast if you cannot attend.
