General Announcements
“JINGLE BELLS, JINGLE BELLS, JINGLE ALL THE WAY… TIME TO SHOP FOR TOYS FOR TOTS…TO MAKE A HAPPY HOLIDAY!”
The day after Thanksgiving is the biggest shopping day of the year. Think about shopping for a boy or girl at Barrett Elementary or the Denver Indian Center. Our goal is 1000 NEW toys – priced $10-$15. Bring your toys to the Attendance Office after the Thanksgiving break. Let’s make it a great holiday for the kids!

What better way to celebrate the upcoming long Thanksgiving Weekend than by attending the District High School Orchestra Concert tonight in the theatre. Sit back and enjoy the beautiful piano solo from Pride and Prejudice or revel in the excitement of selections from The Chronicles of Narnia. That’s tonight at 7:00 in the AHS theatre.

Important reminder to all students: Tomorrow, NOVEMBER 25th , we will be on a Thursday schedule rather than a Tuesday. Please go to your Thursday classes tomorrow.

Tuesday, November 25th is your last chance to order a yearbook (and the DVD yearbook is included as part of the package). Cost is $70. Make checks payable to AHS. Place your order with the bookkeeper, Ms. Searcy.

Congratulations to all members of the Dry Creek Dixie Dawgs for being selected as one of only 15 youth bands to perform in the 2009 Sacramento Jazz Jubilee over Memorial Day Weekend!! This is the third consecutive year that our traditional jazz combo has been selected to perform at the world famous Jubilee!!!

Good morning Arapahoe! The MUSE deadline is fast approaching. Are you a poet? A writer? An artist – like Georgia O’Keefe? Get your submissions in before the end of the semester!
