General Announcements
All PSAT test takers need to be here on October 13th @ 7:15 to take the PSAT! Remember to bring two # 2 pencils with erasers, calculator, admission ticket and school ID. For 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th graders who aren’t taking the PSAT test, school starts at 11 o’clock on October 13th, buses will run normally. If you arrive early you can go to the cafeteria, please remember that others are testing and we need to be quiet. Thanks Warriors!
Congratulations to the Warrior Band and Color Guard on another fine weekend of competition, this time at the Legacy High School Invitational. The Warrior Band and Color Guard earned 2nd place in 5A and 4th Place overall in both Prelims and Finals. Our Band and Color Guard has moved up to 4th in 5A.
Join FBLA this Wednesday for an exciting game of Ultimate Frisbee. Meet in E-9 at 2:20 on October 13. We will also be planning our Trick-or-treat street Halloween Party!!! See Mrs. Swank in the business office for details.
The Warrior Band and Color Guard is hosting a fundraiser at Boston’s Gourmet Pizza tomorrow
(Tuesday) from 5pm to 10pm. Please stop by the band room to pick up a flyer. By presenting this flyer, portions of your bill will be donated to the band.
The drum line will be performing at 6:15pm, and at 6:30pm there will be a pizza eating contest….rumor has it that the band will be challenging the football teams for pizza eating rights!
Hey Warriors, the AHS Event is here – coming October 18th!
Hey freshmen! Do you love gigantic trampolines and tons of fun? Well your link crew leaders will be hosting JUMP STREET on Tuesday October 19th from 3-6pm. Buses will be provided to and from Jump Street. We will leave Arapahoe at 3 and return at 6. Tickets are $12 dollars and will be sold during both lunches today, Monday and Tuesday. Don’t miss out on the fun of this indoor trampoline park!
Hey Warriors! FCCLA wants your help collecting canned and non-perishable food items until Friday October 22nd. We will be building a food sculpture in the back of room E2! All items can be turned in through any Culinary or Fashion Design class or brought to Mrs. Rains in room E2. All items will then be donated to the Bronco Wives Food Drive. Thanks warriors for helping out FCCLA!
Aye! Aye! Come join Mrs. Abner’s Social Dance class for Salsa Night at the Rio Grande Mexican Restaurant in Park Meadows on Tuesday, Oct. 19th from 7:30 – 8:30. There is a $5.00 entry fee which includes a basic salsa lesson. Bring a friend and join us for Salsa Night at the Rio.
Save the Date – Sunday, Oct. 24th for the 15th Annual Stride. Join your fellow students and staff in either a 5k or 10k race through the streets of Littleton. We have been challenged to win the School Competition, so we need to have as many participants as possible to join the Arapahoe team. If our school has the largest percentage of participants we win $1000.00. Register at www.RunTheStride.com or with an AHS PE Teacher.

"Congratulations to the boys and girls cross country teams for sweeping the Windjammer Cross Country Invitational hosted by Englewood High School on Saturday. Out of 24 teams, Arapahoe ran off with first place for JV boys, JV girls, Varsity boys, and Varsity girls."
