General Announcements
Your Google Apps accounts will be upgraded this Friday evening (and into Saturday). This upgrade will give you access to almost all of the Google tools, including Blogger, Reader and Picasa, using your LPS Google Apps login. As part of this transition, please do not try to login to your Google Apps accounts between 9:30 pm on Friday until 10:00 pm on Saturday. Please see the AHS website for more details.

Hey chemistry students, don’t forget that tomorrow is Mole Day. Be in the main gym by 5:55am to make sure you don’t miss an EXPLOSIVE kickoff to the class competitions that you WILL NOT WANT TO MISS.

Attention International Thespian Society members: there is a MANDATORY meeting for any of the students attending the Colorado State Thespian Conference, today after school at 2:30 in the theatre. All students signed up for the conference, NEED to be at the meeting to receive important information and paperwork. Please see Mr. Ahern with questions.

Arapahoe is known for its previous wins with the Broncos wives food drive. Don’t break tradition! Bring your non-perishable food items to the collection boxes located in every classroom. Don’t forget that if Arapahoe wins we will get one thousand dollars!

Attention all new applicants to National Honor Society: Remember that completed application packets are due to Mrs. Brachtenbach in the library no later than 3:00 tomorrow. Please try not to wait until the last minute, since applications will not be accepted after the due date. Contact Mr. Smith in science or Mrs. Leclaire in language arts with any questions.

The Technology Student Association or "TSA" will meet today at 2:25 in E6. We will be going over the State TSA conference materials and competitions. Sign-up for competitions will begin then. If you haven't turned in your Chapter, State, and National dues, please do so on Thursday. See Mr. McMullen for more details.

“On Thursday, November 4th, Colorado State University is hosting its annual Math Day competition in Fort Collins. If you are interested in signing up to compete, see Mr. Thurmond in the Math office for more information. Space is limited to the first 10 students who sign up.”

Would you like to pay off that library fine and at the same time donate to the Bronco Wives Food Drive? How do you ask!? Now until October 28th you will receive a .50 credit off your fine balance for every non perishable food donation you bring in to the library. To ensure that you receive credit toward your fine, personally hand your donation to any of the library staff. Help yourself while you help others.

Athletics
Hey all you Arapahoe Warriors! Tonight is the last game of the season for the Girls Volleyball Team against Cherry Creek. Link Crew wants to invite everyone to come out and support the Warrior Volleyball Team as the take on Cherry Creek High School in the AHS Gym. Come help us cheer our team to victory at 5:30p.m. Games are at 4:00, 5:00, and 6:15.

Hey Warriors! The Winter Sports season is just around the corner. Registration for Girls’ Swimming, Boys & Girls Basketball and Wrestling will take place beginning Tuesday, November 2nd. Make sure to stop by the Athletic Office to pick up your registration paperwork today!

All the senior girl swimmers and divers need to meet at pool after school this Friday, Oct. 22, for a year bookpicture. You need to bring a small baby picture of when you were swimming/ diving; the
picture will not be returned to you.
