General Announcements

Congratulations to the Warrior Band and Color Guard on outstanding performances at the Pomona Band Festival last Saturday. Our Warrior band and Color Guard was the only band that moved up at all in finals competition and finished 7th overall in this prestigious event. The Warrior Band and Color Guard are now ranked fifth in state 5A Competition going into this Saturday’s Legacy Festival.

Save the Date – Sunday, Oct. 24th for the 15th Annual Stride. Join your fellow students and staff in either a 5k or 10k race through the streets of Littleton. We have been challenged to win the School Competition, so we need to have as many participants as possible to join the Arapahoe team. If our school has the largest percentage of participants we win $1000.00. Register at http://www.runthestride.com/ or with an AHS PE Teacher.

French Club will meet tomorrow in C1 immediately after school for a short organizational meeting. See Chand Jiwani, AnnaSophia Robb or the Activities Office with questions.

The next TSA meeting will be this Thursday, Oct 7 at 2:25 in room E6. Please bring your membership dues on or before this meeting to get credit for 1st week payment! If you haven’t turned in your officer application form, please get it to Mr. McMullen today, or tomorrow. See you Thursday!

Juniors this Friday is the last day to sign up for the PSAT test! Go to the Guidance Center today to sign up! The test is October 13th! Math teachers are doing PSAT Prep Sessions in Room S10 October 5th & 7thfrom 6:30 a.m. to 7:15 am. Language Arts teachers are doing PSAT Prep Sessions in Room S10 October 6th & 8th from 6:30 a.m. to 7:15 a.m., Come and get test taking and study tips!

Hey Warriors. Thanks to those of you that wore pink to school today. Our Think Pink Volleyball Match is tonight against Grandview. Game times are at 4:00, 5:00, and 6:15 at Grandview. Remember that you can also support this important cause by purchasing pink bracelets or cookies all this week in the DECA store. All proceeds will be donated!

It is Butter Braid time! The band and color guard is selling the world famous and delectable butter braids AND cookie dough. Each tasty treat costs only $10 and will go towards the expenses of our awesome band program! Band and color guard members have order forms, and you can also see Mr. Hackett in the band room to place your orders.

Chess Club will meet the first and third Wednesday of every month from 2:30-3:30. Our first meeting will be Wednesday in Room S8.
