Kick off Homecoming week by attending the Homecoming Talent Show
on Monday, September 8th. There will be one show at 7:00 p.m., and
royalty will be announced at this show. Buy your $5 tickets at lunch or at the
door.
It's hard to believe, but Homecoming is
just around the corner! An important part of the Homecoming tradition is
the royalty court, members of the Arapahoe family elected by their peers as
representatives of the Warrior spirit to our community, school, and alumni.
Look for the voting forms on the AHS homepage and cast your vote by tomorrow.
Hey Warriors! This year student
council would like to invite the whole student body to participate in the
Homecoming parade. If you are interested in making a float, make sure you have
a staff sponsor and fill out the Homecoming parade form on the student council
webpage by Friday,
September 5th.
Hey Warriors! Don’t forget the DECA
store is still open during your off hours, before school, and after school. And
yes, we still sell cookies! And our prices are cheaper than all the vending
machines! So grab your after school snacks from the DECA store and satisfy your
hunger. If you need to purchase school supplies during lunch, please come to
the Business Office for assistance.
Athletics
Congratulations to the Varsity softball team
for their 3rd place finish in the King of the Mountain tournament this past
weekend. The Warriors had two amazing come from behind wins against Bear Creek
and Horizon to take the 3rd place trophy. The Lady Warriors are back in action
tonight against rival Heritage. Game time is at 7 p.m. at deKoevand Park. Come out and
support the Lady Warriors.
Come cheer on our Varsity
gymnastics team for the first meet of the season at Cherry Creek High School
tomorrow, September 3 at 6:00 p.m.
There will be a girls golf
organizational meeting today after school in Room S-11.
