Hey Warriors! Don't forget to come to the Key Club meeting
today after school in Room N-2. If you have your forms, please bring them
with you. If you haven't joined Key Club already but still want to, please
come to the meeting today. Everyone is welcome. See you there!
The first issue of the Arapahoe Herald student newspaper hits
the news-stands today! Get your copy from your 2nd hour teacher or look for the
newspaper racks in the cafeteria.
Attention
all students interested in joining the National Business Honor Society.
Today is your last day to submit an application to the Business Department.
If you or
your parents ordered pictures at schedule pick up in August, please pick them
up during lunch today on the south side of the
cafeteria. Students can also check at
the Attendance Office during an unscheduled period.
Hey
Warriors! Dodgeball registration is finally here. This year's theme is
World Wide Dodgeball. Teams will be made up of 5 boys and 5 girls. Registration
is first come, first served and only the first 24 teams to register will be
allowed in the tournament. Pick up your registration packet in the Business
Office starting today.
Lost and Found: Please
check the table in the cafeteria for clothing items and the Attendance Office for
smaller items. After this Friday all items will be donated.
Athletics
The Sophomore volleyball team played
well this weekend at the Heritage Tournament! They tied for 3rd place. Congratulations
Sophomores!
Nine players on the JV tennis team
participated in the Niwot Tournament on Saturday. There were 14 teams and 26 players per
division. All AHS teams placed in the top 10 or higher. The team finished
in 5th place. Way to go Warriors. You played great!
Hey Warriors! Come out and support the
Varsity football team as they take on the Heritage Eagles. Kick-off is at 7:00 pm Friday
at LPSS.
There will be NCAA/NAIA Compliance
Orientation on Tuesday,
September 30th during
lunches in the Forum for all Juniors and Seniors interested in competing in
athletics on the college level. For more information and to sign up for
this meeting, please stop by either the Athletic or Guidance Office.
