*Are you interested in Sources of Strength and becoming a peer leader? We are looking for students who want to help lead the charge for positive message campaigns that spread hope, help and strength. Peer training will be in the Library from 7:15-8:15 AM on Thursday, Sept. 19th and Friday, Sept 20th. If you are interested please see Mr. Spare or Ms. Zimmerman in the counseling office. We will see you there!

*Hey Warriors! Remember DECA is collecting used sports equipment to donate to Field Elementary and Options Middle School! Green collection boxes are located around the school!
*Attention Arapahoe Ladies! Powder Puff Flag Football will be a part of our Homecoming celebration this year! There will be at least four practices in October and the game will be Wednesday, October 30 at 6:00 PM. Player applications will be available today at 3:30 PM in the Activities Office. The deadline to register is this Friday, September 20 and teams will be formed on a first come first served basis. Please see Mrs Abner or Mrs. Price with questions.
*What’s in a name? Everything….. Calling all Warriors! Stop by the counseling department to check out the new space and our new fish tank. Bragging rights go to the best name suggestion for our new Old Gold - fish friend! You have until next Friday, September 20 to submit your entry!! Go Fish!
*The Technology Student Association or "TSA", is for students who want to take their interest in STEM, Technology, and Engineering one step further. Students work individually or in teams in such areas as biotechnology, coding, dragster design, flight challenge, film technology, CAD, desktop publishing, extemporaneous speaking, structural engineering, and many more. The TSA Club meets on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month now through February.

Athletics
*Congrats to the Varsity softball team for defeating Vista Ridge on Friday. It was a very close game, but the Warriors were victorious thanks to some great pitching. Your Lady Warriors are currently 10-3 and start league play this week. Come out to the softball field on Thursday at 4:30 to cheer on the Lady Warriors against Grandview.
*Saturday was National Gymnastics Day and your LPS Girls Gymnastics Team hosted their 1st Home Meet in seven years! The Varsity Team placed 1st on Vault, Bars, Beam, & All-Around beating Cherry Creek & Rock Canyon to take an impressive 1st place as a Team! Way to shine Warrior Gymnasts!
*Your Arapahoe Boys Varsity Soccer team lost their game Saturday to Mountain Vista by a score of 3-1. The Arapahoe JV tied Mountain Vista 2-2.
*Our Field Hockey Warriors are back on home turf today at AHS! Varsity plays at 4:15 PM and JV at 5:30 PM both against Fossil Ridge. C Team plays at 6:30 PM against Denver East. Come out and cheer on our Warriors to victory!
