*Attention all NHS members! We will have our first meeting for returning seniors this Thursday, September 12th after school in the forum. We will be discussing the year ahead and meeting our new officers. See you there!

*Kona ice is coming to Arapahoe! Student Council invites you to Come enjoy your favorite kona ice treat after school this Friday Sept. 13th. Bring cash.
*Hey Warriors! DECA is collecting used sports equipment to donate to Field Elementary and Options Middle School! If you have any used sports equipment bring it in and put it in the green boxes located around the school! Every piece of equipment counts and is greatly appreciated! DECA is also hosting a spikeball tournament September 21 on the AHS turf field from 1:00 PM - 6:00 PM. Watch for sign-up information. Entry fee is only five dollars per person!
*FBLA is starting up! All are welcome to our meeting this Wednesday, September 11 in the Forum right after school. We will be discussing our social events, community service opportunities and, of course, our competitions that we have planned this year. See you Wednesday!
*Juniors and seniors! This week, the Post Grad Center will begin hosting college visits. Please follow the college visit pass procedure and sign up in Naviance 24 hours prior to the visit. We will host Johns Hopkins University on Tuesday, Vanderbilt University on Thursday, and Northwestern University on Friday.
*Computer Science meeting is this Tuesday, September 10 at 3:35 in Room N1496 (Ms. Bownds room). Officer elections will take place during the meeting.
Athletics
*Our Warrior Cross Country teams showed amazing effort this past Saturday at the Heritage High School Liberty Bell Invitational. The Girls and Boys Open runners each placed 3rd as a squad, Girls and Boys JV both earned 4th place finishes, the varsity Boys were 5th overall in their division and the Girls Varsity placed an amazing 3rd overall! 40 of 118 runners finished with new all time personal records in the 5k. Nice work Warriors!
*Our ABK Boys Varsity Soccer team beat Liberty HS by a score of 1-0 on Saturday evening. The ABK JV was victorious over the Liberty JV 3-0 on Saturday as well. Both Varsity and JV completed the Warrior Invitational Tournament with 3 wins and no losses. Great job Warriors! Tomorrow night, the ABK Varsity matches up against rival Heritage at 7:00 at LPS Stadium!
*Congratulations to your LPS Girls Gymnastics Team for placing 3rd at the Palmer Ridge Invitational on Saturday! They're back in the gym on Wednesday at Overland High School. Good luck, Ladies!
*Our Varsity Warrior Softball Team takes on Rock Canyon today at 4:30 PM at the AHS softball field.
*Tonight our Varsity Field Hockey Warriors battle Dakota Ridge at home on the AHS turf field at 6:30 PM. Come cheer on our Warriors to victory!
*Hey Warriors ~ we will be pre-selling football tickets for the game coming up Friday night at the stadium against Heritage. Adult and student tickets will be sold both Thursday and Friday from 11:30 AM - 1:30 PM in the Cafeteria and in the East Main Entrance (bubble area). If you have an Athletic Pass on your student ID you will not need to purchase a ticket. All you will need is to bring either your student ID or a photo of your student ID with you to the game on Friday and present it at the pass gate. Go Warriors!
