*September is Suicide Awareness and Prevention Month. In order to spread kindness and show our support for positive mental health, Arapahoe High School is creating our own mural to be displayed in the cafeteria. During lunches this week there will be feathers to color in order to make wings for the mural. Please stop by the table to color your feather and get resources about Suicide awareness and prevention.
*Kona ice is coming to Arapahoe! Student Council invites you to Come enjoy your favorite Kona ice treat after school this Friday, Sept. 13th. Bring cash.
*Attention all NHS members! We will have our first meeting for returning seniors this Thursday, September 12th after school in the forum. We will be discussing the year ahead and meeting our new officers. See you there!
*FBLA is starting up! All are welcome to our meeting this Wednesday, September 11 in the Forum right after school. We will be discussing our social events, community service opportunities and, of course, our competitions that we have planned this year. See you Wednesday!
*Computer Science meeting is today at 3:35 in Room N1496 (Ms. Bownds room). Officer elections will take place during the meeting.
*Interested in art, stories, and poetry? Come to the MUSE today in E1283 right after school and help make the best literary magazine at Arapahoe High School!
*If you signed up for the free Alive @ 25 class, remember it is today at 3:45pm - 8:15 PM in room W1874.
*Hey Warriors! DECA is collecting used sports equipment to donate to Field Elementary and Options Middle School! If you have any used sports equipment bring it in and put it in the green boxes located around the school! Every piece of equipment counts and is greatly appreciated!
*Attention students: please be sure that you have downloaded the Infinite Campus app to your phone and have your notifications turned on. Check your notifications on the night of Sunday, September 15, to see if you have been assigned to a TRIBE enrichment. If so, you will report to that location on Monday, September 16. If not, you will report to your regularly scheduled TRIBE.
Athletics
*Join the Arapahoe Warrior Cross Country team tonight at Chipotle across the street from school for a fundraiser dinner. Come in person between 4:00 PM and 8:00 tonight and mention that you are there for the Cross Country fundraiser. The team will receive a portion of all proceeds from the evening. Thanks for your support!
*Congratulations to our Varsity Field Hockey Warriors with their dominating 4-1 victory last night over Dakota Ridge!

*Congratulations to the Warrior Tennis Boys for a huge win over Smoky Hill! Varsity had a sweep of 7-0 and JV Black went 13-0. Great Victory boys! The team is 2-0 in league play!
*Hey Warriors ~ we will be pre-selling football tickets for the game coming up Friday night at the stadium against Heritage. Adult and student tickets will be sold both Thursday and Friday from 11:30 AM - 1:30 PM in the Cafeteria and in the East Main Entrance (bubble area). If you have an Athletic Pass on your student ID you will not need to purchase a ticket. All you will need is to bring either your student ID or a photo of your student ID with you to the game on Friday and present it at the pass gate. Go Warriors!
