*Attention all NHS members- please check your email for important information regarding participation and membership.
*Warriors, as the weather continues to stay warm, we want to remind you that the school dress code is still in place. This means that bare stomachs and backs, extremely short shorts, and low-cut tops are not appropriate for the learning environment. Also, all tops must have straps, and undergarments must not show. Please be respectful of yourself and others by adhering to these guidelines. If you do not, you will be asked to change or wear something over your clothes.
*It’s time for the second FBLA meeting this Wednesday after school in the forum! Come to enjoy the lip sync competition, learn about competitive events and grab a cookie! We look forward to seeing you there!
*Registration for the PSAT will open Wednesday, September 25th. Cost is $20 cash or check. Please see Ms. Vail in the counseling office.
*Juniors and seniors! 20 colleges are coming to visit Arapahoe High School this week -- take advantage of this opportunity to learn firsthand about these colleges! Tomorrow's visits include the University of Arizona, the University of Oklahoma, the University of Colorado - Boulder, Bethel University, and Pepperdine University. Visits will be in the library, except for the University of Colorado - Boulder, which will be in the Forum.
*Juniors (and interested sophomores) need a little boost before you take your PSAT? Sycamore Learning Company will be offering 5-hour seminars on September 25 & 26 for $86. For more information, please visit the counseling office.
Athletics
*Congratulations to our Warrior Sophomore Volleyball Team with their 4th Place finish at the Heritage Tournament!
*Congrats to the Varsity and JV softball teams for their big wins against Smoky Hill on Saturday! Both teams dominated. The Lady Warriors are back in action today against Overland. Varsity plays at 4:00 PM and JV at 5:30. Come out to the AHS softball field to cheer us on to another victory.
*Our Field Hockey Warriors are back on the field today facing Colorado Academy. Varsity at 4:15 PM, JV at 5:30 PM and C Team at 6:30 PM. All games are on our AHS home turf so come out and cheer on our Warriors to victory!
