*Seniors, if you have not verified the spelling of your name and your height for graduation, please stop by Mrs. Sorensen's office in Student Services to do so before October 19th.
*Athletes who are applying to college… are you a leader & role model in your community with at least a 3.0 GPA? The $10,000 Heisman High School Scholarship might be for you! Search for it on Naviance, or see your counselor or Mrs. Conn in the Post-Secondary Center for details. Application due by October 18th.
*Congratulations to the Mountain Bike Team for an outstanding season! Awesome job for taking 2nd place in the Region! Good luck to our 5 state qualifiers who will be representing the team next weekend in Glenwood Springs!
*The AHS Thespians present The Laramie Project for our Fall production this Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights at 7pm. The Laramie Project is a documentary-style play that explores how a small town can heal from tragedy. Mature audiences only. Check the Arapahoe website for show and ticket information.
*Support AHS FBLA at their Shred-a-thon, this Saturday, October 15th from 9:00am to noon in the east parking lot. $10 per copy paper-sized box donation. Defend yourself against fraud and identity theft. Shred what you don’t want read!
*The 16th Annual Arapahoe Invitational Marching Band Competition is Saturday, October 15th at LPS Stadium. Come and support your Arapahoe band and color guard, or volunteer to help out for this event. For information on schedules and tickets, CLICK HERE. *Warriors, there is a free Alive@25 class Wednesday, October 26th at 3:45pm - 8:15pm in room W1874. This is a 4 1/2 hour class. If you are voluntarily taking the class, the Sheriff's Office pays for your $79 fee. If you are 15 1/2 you can get a driver's permit after taking the class. Some insurance companies give a discount on rates for taking the class. Register on-line at www.aliveat25.us and use the password ARAPAHOE. Any questions, ask Deputy Englert.

*The Boys Varsity Tennis Warriors will be in action at the State Championship today, tomorrow and Saturday at City Park! Good Luck Warriors!
*Arapahoe Football and pizza, what a great combo! Come by Blackjack Pizza (at the corner of Dry Creek & University) on Monday, October 17th or Tuesday October 18th for dinner and they will donate 20% of all sales from 5:00pm - 7:00pm to the Arapahoe Football program. If you order online, make sure to indicate you’re supporting Arapahoe Football.
