General Announcements
*If you signed up for the PSAT that will be held on Wednesday, October 12th, please don't forget to pick up your Student Guide in the Counseling Office.
*Calling all writers! Come check out AHS’ Creative Writing Club. We are meeting TODAY from 3:40 to 4:40 pm in room C1457. If you want to grow as a writer and make meaningful connections through your love of storytelling, come by and give us a try.
*Attention Key Club members - club fees are due on Monday, October 10th at our meeting after school in the forum OR see Mrs. Monson in the World Languages office on Thursday, October 6th before or after school.
*Not sure how you’ll pay for college? If you’ve got character, academic potential, leadership experience, and at least a 3.0 GPA, ask your counselor if you qualify for the Daniels Fund Scholarship. The application is due by October 15th.
*The Fifth Annual Arapahoe High School Charity Car Show is back! Come by on Saturday, October 8th from 9am to noon in the east parking lot. You can bring your car, your family's car or your friend's car. Tell anyone with a cool car to come. We will award prizes for the top 3 cars deemed Best in Show. All donations will support the AHS Toys for Tots drive. Hope to see you there!
*Warriors, there is a free Alive@25 class Wednesday, October 26th at 3:45pm - 8:15pm in room W1874. This is a 4 1/2 hour class. If you are voluntarily taking the class, the Sheriff's Office pays for your $79 fee. If you are 15 1/2 you can get a driver's permit after taking the class. Some insurance companies give a discount on rates for taking the class. Register on-line at www.aliveat25.us and use the password ARAPAHOE. Any questions, ask Deputy Englert.
