General Announcements
*Seniors! Do you have a November 15th college application deadline? The College Application Tracking Form will be due on November 2nd by 3:45 pm for all schools with a November 15th application deadline. See Mrs. Arnold in the main office or Mrs. Conn in Post Secondary if you have questions regarding the tracking form.
*Attention: the AHS Freshman Student Council is collecting food for the Annual Food Drive for East Elementary. Please bring non-perishable food items to the various boxes located around the school. This is an excellent opportunity to show our Arapahoe pride for our community and to help those in need. The Food Drive runs through November 4th.
*Reminder: there is a FREE Alive@25 class TODAY in room W1874. If you signed up for the class, please show up. There is still room in the class. If you did not sign up but would like to take the class show up at 3:45 in W1874. Any questions ask Deputy Englert
*Littleton Public School DRIVERS EDUCATION - Earn high school graduation credit this fall or next spring by taking driver education through LPS. Go to the LPS Drivers Education website to check out dates and times. Classes are filling up fast. Look for an amazing scholarship opportunity through Honda.
Athletics
*Come cheer on the ABK Boys Varsity team at their first playoff game TONIGHT at LPS stadium against Rocky Mountain at 6pm!
*Attention all Girls planning to play Basketball for AHS this winter! We have a Preseason Camp TONIGHT 6:00pm-8:00pm in the main gym. Preseason Camp will continue the following 2 weeks. All workouts will be at AHS. Times are still to be determined. Come join one of the most successful basketball programs in the city and state!
*Come to the Girls Swim & Dive Information meeting TONIGHT, 6:00pm - 7:30pm in the Forum. Find out important information for the upcoming season, learn how to get registered and try on gear. *Congrats to Arapahoe Volleyball for their sweep of Overland last night. All four levels earned victories. The Warriors play Mullen TOMORROW night at home in their final regular season game. Games are at 4:30, 5:00, 5:30, and 6:30. Come out and join us for Senior Night at 6:30pm to celebrate our five amazing ladies.
*Congratulations to the LPS Gymnastics team on their 5th place finish at league on October 19th. Way to go! Come support the team at Regionals TOMORROW at Overland High School. The competition starts at 4:00 pm. The LPS Gymnastics Team is a fall sport made up of students from Arapahoe, Littleton, and Heritage High Schools!
*All JUNIOR AND SENIOR student-athletes interested in competing in athletics at the college level are invited to attend a free NCAA Orientation taking place on TOMORROW during both lunches in the Forum. Please stop by the Athletic Office or Counseling Department and sign up in advance to attend this orientation.
*Hey Warriors! Come out this Saturday, October 29th to support your JV and Varsity Cheerleading teams as they compete in their first competition of the season at Douglas County High School. JV will compete at 9:00am and 10:20am, and Varsity will compete at 11:20am and 12:00pm! We look forward to seeing you there! Roll Tribe.
