AHS Daily Announcements are read over the PA system daily by student announcers. They are also on the AHS website in the black "Daily Announcement" box. We do not email announcements out as they are available for all through our website.

Submit your survival plan to the Zombie Apocalypse Scholarship committee by Halloween for a chance at a $2000 scholarship! Scan the QR code on the ads displayed on our closed-circuit TVs or stop by the Postsecondary Center in Room S1401 for more info. *Hey Warriors, come support your AHS Instrumental Music programs and get a delicious meal. Stop by Colonna's Pizza and Pasta on Arapahoe Rd, Tuesday, October 24th from 4:00pm to 8:00pm. Athletics
*Congratulations to the Varsity and JV Cheerleading teams as they competed in their first competition this past weekend! Varsity placed 2nd in the gameday category and for the second year in a row we’re named Regional Champions in the traditional category! JV took home 2nd place in the gameday category and 3rd place in the traditional category. Great job cheer!
*Congratulations to the Boys Varsity tennis team on a fantastic season and a great showing at the 5A State Championships! A special shout out to Cale Brush, Brett Sweeney, Thomas Stewart and Clayton Wern for battling all the way to the quarterfinals!
*Get ready to cheer on your Varsity ABK Boys Soccer Warriors as they battle Mullen TOMORROW, October 17th at LPS Stadium at 6:00pm. This is the final regular season home game as they prepare for a playoff run. Let’s pack the stadium! Also, JV will play at AHS at 4:15pm.
*Attention all girls planning to play basketball this coming season, please attend our next 2 open gyms on Wednesdays, October 18th and 25th from 6:00pm-8:00pm in the main gym. We also have our Saturday morning shooting workouts on October, 21st and 28th from 9:00am-10:30am. Preseason Camp is just around the corner and it starts on October 30th. *Attention ABK Girls Soccer players: If you are interested in playing girls soccer in the spring, please make sure you have filled out the google form about preseason indoor that was sent out through email and shared on instagram. If you do not fill this form out by Thursday, October 19th, you will not be able to participate in our indoor season. Please see Coach Hayes or Coach Winn if you have any questions.
