General Announcements
*Warriors - TOMORROW on Tuesday, October 31st, HALLOWEEN - students are welcome and encouraged to wear costumes to AHS for Halloween. Please do not wear full face coverings, bring fake weapons, and do not dress in a way that is explicitly violent. The dress code still applies. At both lunches on Halloween, Student Council will host a costume contest in the cafeteria! Individual and group costumes are welcome. Students: stop by the cafeteria on Halloween to participate or just vote for your favorite costumes and win fun prizes. See you all there!
*Please check the Lost and Found table in the cafeteria. There are jackets, hoodies, water bottles, Nalgenes and other items.
*Hey - do you have an opinion about something and want it published in our school news magazine, the Arapahoe Herald this year? If so, write about any topic! It doesn't matter the word length! Send it to arapahoeherald@gmail.com.
*Warriors, please help the Freshman Class’s Annual Food Drive by donating non-perishable food, toiletries and cash donations for the Field Elementary Food Bank now until November 10th. Bring your donations to your Tribe classroom or drop them in any of the yellow boxes you see around the school. The Tribe that collects the most donations will win a bagel party! There will also be a donation drop off time for the COMMUNITY in the bus loop on Saturday, November 11th from 9:00am - 12 noon.
*Butter Braids for Band - support the AHS Instrumental Music Programs and enjoy some delicious butter braids. Order by November 3rd and pick up on November 11th. Go to the arapahoebandboosters.com website and click on fundraisers to order online. at:

Athletics
*Warriors - let’s get LOUD and cheer on your Boys Varsity ABK Soccer team in the 2nd round of playoffs TOMORROW at 6:30pm as they take on Fairview at Centennial Stadium at Newton Middle School. Student athletic passes cannot be used. Tickets can be purchased through GoFan.com.
*GIRLS BASKETBALL is finally here! Preseason Camp starts tonight from 6:00pm-8:00pm in the main gym. All girls wanting to play basketball this coming season should plan to attend. Bring your energy and passion to compete, your love of the game and come HOOP-it-up! Add your energy to our, already, AMAZING culture. See you tonight!
