*Hey Warriors, come support your AHS Instrumental Music programs and get a delicious meal. Stop by Colonna's Pizza and Pasta on Arapahoe Rd, TONIGHT from 4:00pm to 8:00pm. Mention AHS Instrumental Music on all orders - dine-in, pickup and delivery and 25% of the sales go back to the program. *Hey, Warriors want to go toe to toe in a cupcake decorating competition? Bring a buddy to the cafeteria after school on Thursday, October 26th. Compete for a grand prize! And of course, you can eat the cupcake after the competition. It is the official FBLA Buddy Cupcake Competition. Remember to bring a buddy!
*Warriors - want a great resume builder, want to make friends, or just want to compete for the chance to go to Orlando, Florida? It is the last week to join FBLA. If you have questions, go to the Business office for more information!
*The Freshman Class’ Annual Food Drive has begun! Please help us collect non-perishable food, toiletries and cash donations for the Field Elementary Food Bank this year from October 23rd - November 10th. Please bring your donations to your Tribe classroom or drop them in any of the yellow boxes you see around the school. The Tribe that collects the most donations will win a bagel party! There will also be a COMMUNITY drop off for donations on the south drive at AHS on Saturday, November 11th from 9 am - 12 pm.
*ATTENTION - calling all Certified Lifeguards. We need your help in our swim classes this quarter. If you are a certified lifeguard you can earn PE credit by working in our swim classes as a lifeguard. Please email or see Mrs. Abner or Mrs. Bradley ASAP!
Athletics
*Let’s get LOUD in the HOUSE tonight and cheer on your Warrior Girls’ Volleyball teams as they take on Overland in the Centennial League Challenge. Varsity plays at 6:30pm after JV at 5:00pm in the main gym. Sophomore team plays at 4:30pm in the Aux gym followed by Freshman @ 5:30pm.
*Come cheer on your 7th ranked Girls Varsity Field Hockey team as they take on Mountain Vista TOMORROW @ HOME on our turf field at 6:00pm!
*Hey Warriors - your 5th ranked Boys’ Varsity ABK Soccer team is playoff bound and round 1 starts TOMORROW. Let’s pack the house as they battle Far Northeast at 6:30pm at Centennial Stadium @ Newton Middle School.
*Congratulations to the LPS/HHS Gymnastics team for their victory at Leagues last week. Varsity took 5th and JV took 4th. Good luck at Regionals on Saturday at Arvada West!
*ATTENTION - all girls planning to play basketball this coming season, please plan to attend our last Open Gym this Wednesday, October 25th from 6:00pm-8:00pm in the Main Gym. Also, attend our Saturday morning shooting workout on October 28th from 9:00am-10:30am. PRESEASON CAMP starts on October 30th and will take place every day October 30-November 3rd and November 6th-11th.
