*Warriors - cold weather is coming. Have you misplaced your hoodie, jacket, sweater, etc.? Come check the Lost and Found table in the cafeteria. We also have lunch boxes, water bottles, shoes & more.
*ATTENTION - calling all Certified Lifeguards. We need your help in our swim classes this quarter. If you are a certified lifeguard you can earn PE credit by working in our swim classes as a lifeguard. Please email or see Mrs. Abner or Mrs. Bradley ASAP!
*Hey, Warriors want to go toe to toe in a cupcake decorating competition? Bring a buddy to the cafeteria after school TODAY. Compete for a grand prize! And of course, you can eat the cupcake after the competition. It is the official FBLA Buddy Cupcake Competition. Remember to bring a buddy!
*Warriors - want a great resume builder, want to make friends, or just want to compete for the chance to go to Orlando, Florida? It is the last week to join FBLA. If you have questions, go to the Business office for more information!
*Warriors, head across the street to Bare Blends TODAY from 11:00am-5:00pm to help raise money for Breast Cancer Research! Mention that you're with Arapahoe High School and a percentage of the proceeds will be donated to LSA (Latine Student Alliance) and Action Against Cancer Clubs! Together we can make a change.
*The Freshman Class’ Annual Food Drive has begun! Please help us collect non-perishable food, toiletries and cash donations for the Field Elementary Food Bank this year from October 23rd - November 10th. Please bring your donations to your Tribe classroom or drop them in any of the yellow boxes you see around the school. The Tribe that collects the most donations will win a bagel party! There will also be a drop off for donations for the COMMUNITY on the south drive at AHS on Saturday, November 11th from 9 am - 12 pm.
*Butter Braids for Band - support the AHS Instrumental Music Programs and enjoy some delicious butter braids. Order by November 3rd, pick up will be November 11th at Lutheran Church of the Holy Spirit, 6400 S University. Athletics
*Congrats to our Field Hockey Warriors as they defeated Mountain Vista in overtime last night 2-1 in the second round of the state playoffs!
*JUST IN - the next playoff game for the Girls Field Hockey team is rescheduled. The game will be TOMORROW, Friday, October 27 at 4:00pm at Cherry Creek Stutler Bowl.
*Also, congrats to our ABK Boys Varsity Soccer team for their win over Far Northeast in the first round of the state playoffs!
*Come out and cheer on your Warrior Varsity Football team tonight as they take on Eaglecrest at LPS Stadium at 7:00pm. Help us celebrate our Spectacular Seniors at Senior night prior to the game.
*Let’s get LOUD in the HOUSE TONIGHT and cheer on your Warrior Girls’ Volleyball teams as they take on Eaglecrest in the Centennial League Challenge. Varsity plays at 6:30pm after JV at 5:00pm in the main gym. Sophomore team plays at 4:30pm in the Aux gym followed by Freshman @ 5:30pm.
*Good Luck to our Cross Country runners competing at the State Championships in Colorado Springs this Saturday. Go Warriors!
*ATTENTION - all girls planning to play basketball this coming season, please attend our Saturday morning shooting workout on October 28th from 9:00am-10:30am. PRESEASON CAMP starts on October 30th and will take place every day October 30-November 3rd and November 6th-11th.
