General Announcements
*Seniors - have you been measured for your graduation gown? Please stop by Mrs. Sorensen’s office, located in Student Services to check this off your list. Measurements are due by October 18th.
*Congratulations to the students in the “Cars & U.S. History” class for hosting a successful car show this past Saturday. Over 60 cars, everything from classics to exotics, came out to support a great cause and show off their vehicles. The Arapahoe community came together and raised over $1,100 to support future shows and Arapahoe’s 2023 Toys For Tots Drive that begins next month.
*Juniors & Seniors: There's still time to sign up for college visits this week from UC Irvine, LSU, University of Oregon, and CU Denver. Log in to your Scoir account to register. Also, Officer Swartz from the US Navy will be available in the cafeteria today during both lunches to speak with students who are interested in joining the Navy.
*Come support AHS Instrumental Music programs at Zell's, across from AHS on Wednesday, October 11th, between 11:00am and 7:00pm. Order in store and mention AHS Band Boosters OR use the QR code for online orders and 20% of the sales will go to ABB.
Athletics
*Come support your Warrior Girls Volleyball teams TONIGHT at HOME as they take on Overland! Varsity plays at 6:30pm after JV plays at 5:00pm. Join us in celebrating our SENSATIONAL SENIORS before the Varsity game. Sophomore team plays at 4:30pm in the Aux gym followed by Freshman @ 5:30pm.
*Come cheer on your Girls Field Hockey teams as they battle against Grandview at HOME TONIGHT! Varsity plays at 6:30pm followed by JV at 7:45pm on the AHS Turf field.
*Come out TONIGHT to cheer on your Boys Varsity ABK Warriors as they take on Cherokee Trail at Legacy Stadium. Varsity will start at 6:00pm after JV at 4:30pm.
*Attention: All Baseball players and those interested in playing spring ball, we will have a meeting this Wednesday, September 11th at 3:45 in the Forum. Fall athletes do not need to attend.
*The Boys Varsity Tennis Warriors are heading to the State Championships at City Park starting this Thursday. Arapahoe has had an incredible season and we are sending 9 players to the competition! Good Luck Warriors!
