General Announcements
*Seniors! Colorado's Free Application Week is here! Submit your college applications to any school in Colorado for FREE by this Thursday at midnight! Remember: only your application needs to be submitted -- all other supporting documents, including letters of rec, transcripts, test scores, etc., can wait until the college's official application deadline to be sent.
*ALSO, Seniors: if you have a November 1st application deadline, transcript request forms must be turned in to your counselor or Ms. Conn by TOMORROW, October 18th. Forms can be found in the Counseling office, the library, the front office, and the Postsecondary Center in Room S1401.
*Hey Warriors, come support your AHS Instrumental Music programs and get a delicious meal. Stop by Colonna's Pizza and Pasta on Arapahoe Rd, Tuesday, October 24th from 4:00pm to 8:00pm. Mention AHS Instrumental Music on all orders - dine-in, pickup and delivery and 25% of the sales go back to the program. Athletics
*Get ready to cheer on your Varsity ABK Boys Soccer Warriors as they battle Mullen TODAY at LPS Stadium at 6:00pm. This is the final regular season home game as they prepare for a playoff run. Let’s pack the stadium! Also, JV will play at AHS at 4:15pm.
*Support your Baseball Warriors by dining out TODAY at Mici’s Italian Pizza, Pasta and Gelato at the Streets of Southglenn. Valid all day Tuesday from 11:00am-9:00pm, just mention AHS Baseball and 20% of your purchase goes back to the program.
*Attention all girls planning to play basketball this coming season, please attend our next 2 open gyms on Wednesdays, October 18th and 25th from 6:00pm-8:00pm in the main gym. We also have our Saturday morning shooting workouts on October, 21st and 28th from 9:00am-10:30am. Preseason Camp is just around the corner and it starts on October 30th. *Attention ABK Girls Soccer players: If you are interested in playing girls soccer in the spring, please make sure you have filled out the google form about preseason indoor that was sent out through email and shared on instagram. If you do not fill this form out by Thursday, October 19th, you will not be able to participate in our indoor season. Please see Coach Hayes or Coach Winn if you have any questions.
