General Announcements
*Seniors: if you have a November 1st application deadline, transcript request forms must be turned in to your counselor or Mrs. Conn by TODAY. Forms can be found in the Counseling office, the library, the front office, and the Postsecondary Center in Room S1401.
*ALSO, Seniors - Colorado's Free Application Week is here! Submit your college applications to any school in Colorado for FREE by this Thursday at midnight! Remember: only your application needs to be submitted -- all other supporting documents, including letters of rec, transcripts, test scores, etc., can wait until the college's official application deadline to be sent.
*Hey Warriors, come support your AHS Instrumental Music programs and get a delicious meal. Stop by Colonna's Pizza and Pasta on Arapahoe Rd, Tuesday, October 24th from 4:00pm to 8:00pm. Mention AHS Instrumental Music on all orders - dine-in, pickup and delivery and 25% of the sales go back to the program. In addition, every order will be entered into a raffle to win a meal for a family of 5! See our flier for more information.
*The Freshman Class’ Annual Food Drive has begun! Please help us collect non-perishable food, toiletries and cash donations for the Field Elementary Food Bank this year from October 23rd - November 10th. Please bring your donations to your Tribe classroom or drop them in any of the yellow boxes you see around the school. The Tribe that collects the most donations will win a bagel party! There will also be a drop off for donations for the COMMUNITY on the south drive at AHS on Saturday, November 11th from 9 am - 12 pm.
Athletics
*Warriors let’s get LOUD! Come cheer on your Varsity Warrior Football team as they take on Cherry Creek on Friday, October 20th at 7:00pm at Stutler Bowl Stadium. Tickets can be purchased through GoFan.
*Attention all girls planning to play basketball this coming season, please attend our next open gyms on Wednesdays, October 25th from 6:00pm-8:00pm in the main gym. We also have our Saturday morning shooting workouts on October, 21st and 28th from 9:00am-10:30am. Preseason Camp is just around the corner and it starts on October 30th. *Attention ABK Girls Soccer players: If you are interested in playing girls soccer in the spring, please make sure you have filled out the google form about preseason indoor that was sent out through email and shared on instagram. If you do not fill this form out by Thursday, October 19th, you will not be able to participate in our indoor season. Please see Coach Hayes or Coach Winn if you have any questions.
*Hey Warriors - come watch the LPS/Heritage Gymnastics team as they compete TONIGHT at Varsity Leagues at Elizabeth High School. JV Leagues are TOMORROW at the same time and location. Also, help out the team TODAY for their restaurant fundraiser at Modern Market in the Streets of Southglenn from 11:00am to 9:00pm. Mention LPS/Heritage Gymnastics and 30% of the proceeds will go back to the team.
