General Announcements

*Warriors we’re almost at the finish line of our Warrior Week! Let’s finish STRONG!

Lovin the Anything but a Backpacks - Join us TODAY at our Community Carnival from 4:30pm-7:00pm in the Cafeteria, purchase 50 tickets for $20. There will be pizza, snow cones, prizes, games and music!
Also, TODAY is the last chance to buy a Warrior Week t-shirt in the Library. All proceeds go to support Joel!

*Students! Now is the time to sign up for a locker partner for next year. Check your email for the Locker Partner Request Form OR check the AHS website under Registration 2025-2026 for a link to the form.

*Reminder: College Information Night will be hosted here at Arapahoe on Monday, March 3rd, from 6:30-8:30pm. Get inspired to meet your post-grad goals with an Admissions Panel in the theater followed by a mini college fair in the cafeteria. You don’t want to miss it! Don’t forget to wear your favorite college colors on Monday!

Athletics

*Come out and support your Boys Varsity Basketball team TONIGHT as they take on Doherty in the second round of the 2025 6A State Playoffs. Tip off at 7:00pm and the halftime games with prizes will be a lot of fun. You won't want to miss it! Remember that since this is a CHSAA playoff game, Student Activity Passes WILL NOT be accepted. Tickets are $5 for students and you are encouraged to purchase them in advance at our Arapahoe GoFan page. Tickets will be sold at the door with cash or card. Let's pack the stands to support your boys and send them to the Sweet 16!!! Goooooo Warriors!!!

*Let’s get LOUD for our Girls Varsity Basketball team TOMORROW in the CHSAA 6A Playoffs. Come fire up the team as they take on Regis at Regis @ 6:00pm. Tickets are $5 and must be purchased online ahead of time at HomeTown Ticketing.com. There are no in-person ticket sales.

*Come pack the stands and help us get this season started off right by cheering on the Boys Varsity Lacrosse team against Legend @ this year’s Foundation Game on Tuesday, March 4th @ 7:00pm at LPS Stadium. Our Foundation Game supports suicide prevention and mental health awareness. Admission to the game is your donation. All proceeds go to support The Nick Bales, Brought To Reality Foundation! Let’s show our support for BTR by spreading the message that it’s always ok to ask for help if your struggling with thoughts of suicide.

*Congratulations to the Boys Swimming & Diving team on a hard fought meet against Cherry Creek. Despite some fast swims and early state qualifying times, the boys were defeated by the 4 time defending state champs. The team will be back in action next Thursday at home against Mullen.

*Are you planning to go to college after graduation?! Don’t miss College Information Night next Monday, March 3rd, from 6:30-8:30pm! Get a behind-the-scenes peek into the Admissions Process with reps from The University of Tennessee, Creighton, Metro, and CU Boulder at the panel discussion in the theater, then talk to reps from Cal Poly, Oklahoma, Mesa, and many more at the mini-college fair that follows.

*Let's keep this school spirit celebration going by wearing your favorite College Colors on Monday – whether it’s a team you follow or a school you dream of attending, dig out your best gear and represent!

*Good luck to your Boys Swimming & Diving team who will be hosting Cherry Creek, the defending state champions, at the AHS pool TONIGHT. The competition begins at 5:00. Come out and support the swim team - admission is free, then head over the Staff vs. Seniors basketball game to support Warrior Week and our Wish Kid - Joel!

*DECA had a very successful State competition at the Broadmoor! Congratulations to these students who qualified for Nationals in Orlando, FL:

Annalise Cote, Wesley Foa, Annie Gonzales, Everest Jackstein, Naomi Mancherian, Keira McElhiney, Graham Reed, Molly Winslow, And a huge shout out to Patti Gilmore, who brought home a State Championship!

*Warrior Girls! Do you want to make your own bath bomb? Are you interested in fun STEM Activities? The Warrior Women Exploring STEM & Engineering Club is having our first meeting TOMORROW, Thursday before school at 7:40am in room W1874. We hope you can join us!

*The Girls Lacrosse team is looking for new players! If you're interested in joining, no experience necessary, please inquire with Ms. Collins in Language Arts. Our season starts with practice TONIGHT at the South Suburban Sports Dome, 6:00pm - 8:00pm.

*If you're interested in attending Metro Denver after graduation, our local Admissions Rep will be in the Postsecondary Center today at 11:45am to answer all your questions! Log in to Scoir and register and a pass will be delivered to you if you'll be missing class. See Ms. Conn in Room S1401 for more information.

*Warriors, join us for College Night, Monday, March 3rd, 6:30pm-8:30pm in the theater and cafeteria. We’re hosting a "fireside chat" style Admissions Panel, followed by a mini college fair -- a format that received great feedback last year! Sophomore and junior students and their families are the primary audience, but all are welcome.

*Congratulations to your Varsity Boys Basketball team for their wins in the final round of the Centennial League Tournament. The Varsity team finished the regular season with a record of 17 and 6 and secured the 12th seed in the 6A Basketball Playoffs! They will host a HOME Playoff Game this Friday for the first time in over 10 years! They will need the whole tribe out to cheer them on against Doherty at 7:00pm in Sitting Eagle Gymnasium. GOOOOO WARRIORS!
