 General Announcements

*DECA had a very successful State competition at the Broadmoor! Congratulations to these students who qualified for Nationals in Orlando, FL: 

Annalise Cote, Wesley Foa, Annie Gonzales, Everest Jackstein, Naomi Mancherian, Keira McElhiney, Graham Reed, Molly Winslow,  And a huge shout out to Patti Gilmore, who brought home a State Championship!     


*Warrior Week shirts will be sold ALL WEEK in the library. Please help support Joel by purchasing a shirt! 


*We are in the middle of Warrior Week and going STRONG!  Keep supporting all our events & activities that help our Wish Kid - Joel.  


  • Warriors - lookin’ too COOL for SCHOOL in your Tropical outfits - join us TODAY for Disney Trivia during both lunches

    • make a trip to Yogurtland anytime all day - 20% of all proceeds go to Make-a-Wish - mention you’re from AHS at checkout

    • get dinner from Canes - 4:00pm-9:00pm in Highlands Ranch - mention you’re from AHS at checkout

  • Thursday - Jersey Day - join us at the Staff/Seniors Basketball Game at 7:00pm in the main gym - FREE

  • Friday - Anything but a Backpack Day - Join us at our Community Carnival from 4:30pm-7:00pm in the Cafeteria, purchase 50 tickets for $20


*Warrior Girls! Do you want to make your own bath bomb? Are you interested in fun STEM Activities? The Warrior Women Exploring STEM & Engineering Club is having our first meeting TOMORROW, Thursday before school at 7:40am in room W1874. We hope you can join us!


*Are you planning to go to college after graduation?! Don’t miss College Information Night next Monday, March 3rd, from 6:30-8:30pm! Get a behind-the-scenes peek into the Admissions Process with reps from The University of Tennessee, Creighton, Metro, and CU Boulder at the panel discussion in the theater, then talk to reps from Cal Poly, Oklahoma, Mesa, and many more at the mini-college fair that follows.


*Let's keep this school spirit celebration going by wearing your favorite College Colors on Monday  – whether it’s a team you follow or a school you dream of attending, dig out your best gear and represent!


Athletics

*The Girls Lacrosse team is looking for new players!  If you're interested in joining, no experience necessary, please inquire with Ms. Collins in Language Arts.  Our season starts with practice TONIGHT at the South Suburban Sports Dome, 6:00pm - 8:00pm.


*Get ready to cheer on your Boys Swim & Dive team at their first meet of the season at HOME!  The Warriors will take on Cheery Creek TOMORROW starting at 5:00pm.


*Come out and support your Boys Varsity Basketball team as they take on Doherty in the second round of the 2025 6A State Playoffs. As the high seed, Arapahoe will host the game in Sitting Eagle Gymnasium for the first time since 2013. Remember that since this is a CHSAA playoff game, Student Activity Passes will not be accepted. Cost is $5 to enter and tickets can be purchased at the door (cash or card) or online at our Arapahoe GoFan page. Tip off is Friday night at 7:00pm and the halftime games with prizes will be a lot of fun. You won't want to miss it! Let's pack the stands to support your boys and send them to the Sweet 16!!! Gooooooooo Warriors!!!
