General Announcements
*Come cheer on your Unified Basketball team as they take on Rock Canyon TONIGHT at 5:00pm at Rock Canyon HS.
*Hey Warriors - our Warrior Week starts this Friday when we get to meet our Wish Kid, Joel at our Warrior Week Assembly. Make sure and buy a Warrior Week t-shirt on sale during both lunches this week in the cafeteria to wear at the assembly.
*Seniors - Herff Jones will be here Tuesday, February 25th from 10:00am -
12:00 noon in the bubble to deliver graduation announcements that were ordered in the fall. Don't forget to stop by and pick them up.
*Last weekend 19 Arapahoe Warriors competed at the Colorado Technology Student Association State Conference. Many students were semi-finalists and the team of Heidi Hucke, Taylor Karsten and Gavin Turner placed second in Fashion Design & Technology, and Zoey Shaffer was elected as the Colorado Technology Student Association President. Great job AHS TSA!
*Are you still looking for a spring sport to play? The AHS/LHS Ultimate Frisbee Combined CO-ED Open team is looking for players of all grades to come have fun with us! No experience necessary! First practice is at the AHS band field on February 24 after school at 4pm!
*Warriors - there is an informational meeting TOMORROW in the Forum at 6:30pm about our June 2026 trip to ITALY with Mrs. Wood and your Warrior friends. You must RSVP to this meeting! Even if you can’t attend, please register if you are interested, so we can send you more information. Use the QR codes on the flyers around school.
Athletics
*Attention athletes: Any one interested in participating in Track and Field this spring must be registered before the first day of practice which starts this upcoming Monday, February 24th. See Coach Wadsworth in the Counseling office with any questions.
*Warriors - make it a night of Basketball in Sitting Eagle Gymnasium TOMORROW, February 20th. The Girls Varsity team will be playing Smoky Hill at 5:30pm in League Tournament play.
*Then Good Luck to our Varsity Boys Basketball team as they continue their work in the Centennial League Tournament. They have earned a home game TOMORROW against Cherokee Trail. Tip Off is at 7:00pm in Sitting Eagle Gymnasium. Come on out and support our boys. They love having the whole Tribe behind them! Gooooooo Warriors!
*Come out and cheer on the Heritage/LPS Hockey team (Arapahoe players are on the team) as they host the first round of playoffs. The game is Friday, February 21st at 8:10pm at South Suburban Sports Complex. All fans get in for FREE and wear white for our WHITEOUT game.
