*Congratulations to sophomores Jiro Moriyama and Karson Hilgert for being invited to the Colorado State Climbing Championships this past weekend. Jiro finished 2nd out of 40 climbers in the Junior Varsity classification and Karson finished 8th out of 64 climbers in the Varsity classification. Thanks for a great season Arapahoe Climbing Team!
*Arapahoe is proud to offer our students a new club - the Safety Club! Safety Club is for students seeking empowerment in self protection. Our first meeting is Tuesday, March 4, at 3:35pm in room N1485.
*Warrior Girls! Do you want to make your own bath bomb? Are you interested in fun STEM Activities? The Warrior Women Exploring STEM/ Engineering club is having our first meeting this Thursday, February 27th before school at 7:40am in room W1874. We hope you can join us!
Athletics
*The Girls Lacrosse team is looking for new players! If you're interested in joining, no experience necessary, please inquire with Ms. Collins in Language Arts. Our season starts TODAY with practice through Wednesday at the South Suburban Sports Dome, 6:00pm - 8:00pm.
*Congratulations to your Varsity Boys Basketball team for their huge win Thursday night over Cherokee Trail. Thank you to all of you who braved the snowy weather to cheer the team on to a 60-41 victory! They went on to win the final round of the Centennial League Tournament on Saturday morning beating Cherry Creek 56-52. The Varsity team finished the regular season with a record of 17 and 6 and secured the 12th seed in 6A Basketball! They are high enough that they earned a bye in the first round of the State playoffs and will host a HOME GAME this Friday night for the first time in over 10 years! They will need the whole tribe out to cheer them on at 7:00pm in Sitting Eagle Gymnasium where they will play Doherty. GOOOOO WARRIORS!
