*Attention all sophomores and juniors: Invitations to apply for National Honor Society were emailed to eligible students. Please complete the application by February 24th. If you have any questions about the process, please see Ms. Brock, Ms. Dusto, or Ms. Price. Current NHS members DO NOT need to reapply.
*Warriors! EPIC and ACC reps will be on campus TOMORROW during lunches in the Cafeteria to answer all your questions about enrolling in CE courses for next year. Stop by and see them if you need help scheduling CE and EPIC classes!
*Calling All Pickleballers📣 Sign up to play in our Warrior Week Pickleball Tournament on Tuesday, February 25th, 7:00pm-8:30pm. Teams of 2 will compete against each other to claim the title AHS Pickleball Champions and win Cane’s gift cards. $5 per person entry fee. All proceeds will go towards our Wish Kid, Joel. Scan the QR code on flyers throughout the school or on these announcements to SIGN UP!
*Warriors - looking for something fun to do this Valentine's season? Come see the AWVM’s Valentines Cabaret on Thursday, February 13th @ 7:30pm in the theater. This concert includes performances from Singers, Crescendos, Concert Choir, Men’s Ensemble, Chorale, SoPal and more! The best part is that tickets cost nothing, making this a free-entry event! The only thing you need to support your fellow warriors is to show up and cheer! See you there!
Athletics
*Congratulations to your Arapahoe Warriors Girls Swimming & Diving Team who finished their season last week at the 5A CHSAA State Championships. The girls finished in 4th place, just 3 points out of 3rd. The 200 Medley Relay Team of Annika Yaworkski, Kenzie Luft, Shayna Adler, and McKinley Cain earned All-State honors, All-American honors, and broke the school record by over 2 seconds. Annika Yaworski also broke school records in the 100 back and 100 fly. First year Arapahoe Head Coach, Eric Eikenbary, won the 5A CHSAA Coach of the Year Award. Congratulations girls on a historic swimming and diving season!
*If you want to play Girls Golf this spring, make sure you and a parent come to our Pre-Season Golf Meeting TOMORROW at 5:30pm in the Forum. See Coach Riordan in the World Language Office if you have any questions.
*Congratulations to our Freshman and Sophomore boys basketball teams as they both got the win in the first round of their Centennial League Tournament! They continue the tournament this week. Good luck, Warriors!
*Your Varsity Boys Basketball team would like to send a HUGE thank you to all of the students who showed up on Friday for their game against Cherry Creek. With your support, the Varsity Boys took down the Bruins in overtime with a final score of 56-47! JV won their game as well 55-48. Come support your boys at home this Wednesday as they take on the Eaglecrest Raptors in the last regular-season game. Varsity tips off at 7:00 p.m. The crowd definitely makes a huge difference, so we hope to see you all there! Gooooooo Warriors!
*The Girls Lacrosse team is looking for new players! If you're interested in joining, no experience necessary, please inquire with Ms.Collins in Language Arts or the Athletic Dept to get registered! Season starts Feb. 24th!
