General Announcements

Please welcome 20 teachers from Shanghai, China visiting our school today. These are teachers currently studying at DU through the Center for China United States Cooperation. They will be visiting selected classes during 3rd hour and in the Drama Room during 4th hour. The program, founded by the University of Denver Graduate School of International Studies, serves as a bridge in a search for mutual understanding, the development of prudent policies, and the positive resolution of disputes between Chinese people and American people. Please welcome them to Arapahoe.

Important reminder to all students: Next Tuesday, NOVEMBER 20, 2007, we will be on a Thursday schedule rather than a Tuesday. Please go to your Thursday classes next Tuesday.

It is Sudan Awareness Week

- The UN has denied calling the conflict in Sudan a genocide because it would force military action even though the US has admitted it to be a genocide

Tonight is the night! The third annual Jamnesty concert will be at the Rock House at 6pm. There will be 6 high school bands playing, so come and support your friends and help raise money for our Sudan Awareness Week.
