General Announcements

As many of you may know, Arapahoe Junior Topher Wallace lost his house last week to a fire. Students and staff may donate to the Wallace Family Rebuilding Fund this week. Please stop by the table in the cafeteria to make your donation.

Attention new National Honor Society members. Remember that your induction ceremony will be Monday, December 3 at 7:00 p.m. in the AHS theater. Also, keep in mind that there is a MANDATORY rehearsal on Monday at 2:30 in the theater. It is important that you be there so you will know your part in the ceremony and make your parents and special guests proud. The rehearsal will take about an hour. Make arrangements now!

Overdue books & library fees $5.00 and over will now be posted in Infinite Campus.

Take time to occasionally log into your Infinite Campus portal, choose the Fee tab and check your records. Thanks!

We need some TOYS!! Only 6 more days to meet our 1000 toy goal! Maybe you have toys in your car, in your home, or maybe your toys are still at the store – this is a great week to shop. No need to wait until the last minute, you can bring your toys in NOW! If you would like to go to Fairview Elementary to deliver toys on December 18, please pick up a permission form in the Attendance Office.

Attention Knowledge Trivia Enthusiasts! The Fall Knowledge Master Open is scheduled for today, right after school in room E-9. Please see Mrs. Lobser for a permission form or print one off of her Gifted & Talented Web Page.

This is the last week that you may sign up for FBLA and still be involved with the district competition, all paper work and money is due by Friday. Don’t be left out join today!

Monday December 3 is our FBLA Holiday get together afterschool. We will be watching “The Santa Claus” and writing letters to our troops. Hot chocolate will be served. Meeting is in room S1. See you there.

Attention all French Club members!! We will be meeting in Room C21 today at 2:20 to have our picture taken for the yearbook. Please come and be prompt!!! Thanks!!

FCCLA will have a very important meeting after school on Monday December 3rd in Room E2. We will be discussing the AHS toy drive, our adopt-a-family project, and our holiday social. We will also make plans to discuss our upcoming district and state conferences in February and April. See you there FCCLA.

Are you a science whiz? Do you like to show off your mad science knowledge? Then you would be perfect for the National High School Science Bowl!! For the last 2 years Arapahoe has represented well against other high schools and we would like to keep it up. If you are interested in participating in the High School Science Bowl, please sign up with Ms. Durow in the science office.
