General Announcements
In honor of Veterans’ Day, November 11th, we would like to honor those Americans who sustained injuries or died in the defense of our nation. We would also like to honor the nurses, doctors and medics who devoted themselves to saving the lives of wounded soldiers, and making the deaths of others less painful. Remember that tomorrow we will have very special veterans visiting with our students in Forum throughout the day. Please say hi and thank them for their participation in our country’s Armed Forces during difficult times.
The day is here! The Bonfils Blood drive begins at 10:00 a.m. in rooms S-13 and S-14. Please plan to be on time for your appointment. Hey Arapahoe, it’s not too early to be thinking about holiday gifts. If you want an easy way to get them all done at once, come to the AHS Tie-Dye fundraising party. Buy your ticket, five dollars each, at lunch Nov 12 – 16th. Then bring your ticket and whatever you want to tie-dye to room W105 at 2:30 on Nov. 29th. You must have your ticket to attend, and you cannot buy tickets at the door. So come out and support the Association for Women in Science.
There will be an informal meeting of the Gay-Straight Alliance after school tomorrow, November ninth, in the outdoor classroom.
The Remember Club asks you to buckle up and take care of one another.
