General Announcements

As many of you may know, Arapahoe Junior Topher Wallace lost his house last week to a fire. Students and staff may donate to the Wallace Family Rebuilding Fund this week. Please stop by the table in the cafeteria to make your donation.

The Broncos are coming to AHS! Congratulations AHS for winning the Broncos Wives Food Drive for the second year in a row. A few of the Bronco players like Brandon Stokley and Daniel Graham, some cheerleaders, and Miles the Mascot will present our award during first lunch on Tues. Nov. 27th. It’s Bronco Day on Tues. the 27th. Wear your blue and orange or Bronco jerseys. Special thanks go out to all of Mrs. Parmenter’s choir classes for their generous contributions. We could not have won without their participation. Thanks Parmenter!

Attention all clubs, group pictures for the yearbook will be taken on Wednesday, November 28th after school in room E-8. Please see your club sponsor for details.

Hey Arapahoe, Key Club is creating Hero Packs for the children of troops that are overseas. Please think about bringing some fun items that are unbreakable, such as stickers, stuffed animals, a Frisbee, disposable camera, materials for photo albums or scrapbooks, journals, stationary or handwritten appreciation letters. You can drop things off at boxes in the library, Social Studies office or your history class

Attention Knowledge Trivia Enthusiasts! The Fall Knowledge Master Open is scheduled for Thursday, November 29th right after school in room E-9. Please see Mrs. Lobser for a permission form or print one off of her Gifted & Talented Web Page.

Company class will present 3 children’s plays on Tues. and Wed. nights of this week at 7:00 pm. Tickets are $5 and children are free with a colored poster. Refreshments will be furnished. See Mr. Earley or any Company student for details. Don’t miss “The Trial of Goldilocks”, The Big Bad Wolf…Is he big? Is he bad?” and “The Missing Troll”

Seniors wanting to apply to the University of Northern Colorado:

Tuesday, 11/27, (that’s tomorrow!) is a scheduled Application Day for UNC. An Admissions representative will be in the Post Grad Center to admit eligible students during a 10 minute appointment. Sign up for an appointment in the Post Grad Center TODAY!

Attention Chess Players! Please attend our chess club practice after school today. Our first Chess Match is scheduled for Thursday, December 6th.

There will be emergency meeting of the Gay-Straight Alliance after school today in room W-101. Please make sure to stop by for a quick announcement.

The Gay-Straight Alliance will be taking yearbook club pictures at 4:10 PM on Wednesday, November 28, after the rest of the clubs. Please be present and ready at least ten minutes before this time."
