General Announcements

Be sure and come to the Annual Downtown Littleton Candlelight Walk this Friday, beginning at 6pm. All the Arapahoe Instrumental Small Ensembles will be performing throughout downtown Littleton, on Main Street. Santa progresses down the center of town starting at 6:30pm. Our brass ensemble will be performing antiphonally by the Town Arts Center as Santa turns on the lights for each downtown block. Then the Brass Ensemble is the featured entertainment at Bradford Auto Body, where free hot apple cider is served! Hope to see you on Friday for an evening of holiday fun!!!

The Broncos are coming to AHS! Congratulations AHS for winning the Broncos Wives Food Drive for the second year in a row. A few of the Bronco players like Brandon Stokley and Daniel Graham, some cheerleaders, and Miles the Mascot will present our award during first lunch on Tues. Nov. 27th. It’s Bronco Day on Tues. the 27th. Wear your blue and orange or Bronco jerseys. Special thanks go out to all of Mrs. Parmenter’s choir classes for their generous contributions. We could not have won without their participation. Thanks Parmenter!

“Jingle Bells, Jingle Bells, Jingle All the Way…Time to Shop for Toys for Tots…to make a Happy Holiday!” The day after Thanksgiving is the biggest shopping day of the year. Think about shopping for a boy or girl at Fairview Elementary. Our goal is 1000 NEW toys – priced $10 - $15. Bring your toys to the Attendance Office after the Thanksgiving break. Let’s make it a great holiday for the kids!

Attention all clubs, group pictures for the yearbook will be taken on Wednesday, November 28th after school in room E-8. Please see your club sponsor for details.

Hey Arapahoe, Key Club is creating Hero Packs for the children of troops that are overseas. Please think about bringing some fun items that are unbreakable, such as stickers, stuffed animals, a Frisbee, disposable camera, materials for photo albums or scrapbooks, journals, stationary or handwritten appreciation letters. You can drop things off at boxes in the library, Social Studies office or your history class

Arapahoe Students! Join Mrs. Abner’s dance class for SALSA night at the Rio Mexican Restaurant near Park Meadows tonight at 7:30pm. Free Salsa lessons will be given and no experience necessary. Come SALSA with people like Eric Law, Ryan Werner and Mike McNulty. Hope to see you at the RIO!

Attention Knowledge Master Enthusiasts! Join us for the Fall Knowledge Master Open on Thursday, November 29th after school in room E-9. Please see Mrs. Lobser to sign up and get your permission form.

Attention Model UN delegates: Don’t forget resolutions for the Boulder conference are due Monday November 26th in the morning. Feel free to e-mail them before-hand to Ms. DiSepio or Ms. Hurt for feedback or to submit them.
