General Announcements
Bye Bye Birdie opened last night, and was a huge hit! Come see it tonight
or tomorrow. Today is your last chance to buy tickets. They are on sale at
lunch, $8.00 for students and $10.00 for adults. You won't want to miss it!
Student 1: Hey what are you up to on the 28th?
Student 2: Sorry, I’m actually not sure.
Student 1: I’m a planner. I like to plan. Do you like to plan?
Student 2: Sometimes?
Student 1: Well then you should plan on going to the Mr. Arapahoe
Competition on April 28th! An opportunity you won’t wanna miss- some of our
very own wonderful Senior boys will compete against one another with talent,
some choreographed dancing, even some formal wear and the audience will vote
for the gentleman that represents Arapahoe the best. You can get your ticket
next week during lunch for $5. The show
will start at 7:00. Make sure you bring posters to support your friends!
Have
you always wanted to use the school loud speaker? Would you like sharing
the Arapahoe news for the day? If you are interested in reading the daily
announcements next year, sign up for auditions in the Attendance Office with
Mrs. Ayres. Auditions will be held April 27, right after
school.
Hey Seniors!!
You're VOTE counts! Please take time to vote for your class song, motto
and flower. These will be utilized in many special ways as we head toward end
of the year ceremonies, graduation and celebrations. Log into Naviance and vote
by Tuesday, April 21st or
come by the voting table in the cafeteria on Friday or Monday to
place your vote.
Attention Juniors and Seniors:
This year’s prom is on Saturday, May 2nd at The Wildlife Experience.
Tickets are already on sale online through a link found on the Arapahoe Home
Page. Each upperclassman can purchase two tickets for $35 each. Tickets
purchased online will be handed out starting Friday, April 24 - Thursday, April
30th with a student ID. Tickets will cost $40 per person if bought at the door
the night of prom.
Prom guest forms are located in the Attendance Office. All
forms are due by Tuesday, April 28th no later than 3:00
p.m.
Auditions for the 2015
- 2016 AHS Choirs will be held April 20 - 24. Please see Ms. Parmenter in the Choir Room for
details and to sign up for an audition time. We are also looking for piano
accompanists for next year.
Athletics
Please congratulate the Varsity girls lacrosse
players today on their win over Cherokee Trail on Wednesday evening.
Final score was 20 to 7! Please
come out tonight to
LPS stadium to watch your Arapahoe girls Varsity lacrosse team take on Mullen
High School. Game starts at 5:00 p.m. and we
need fans in the stands!
Good luck to our boys Swim & Dive team who
will be swimming in the Jeffco Invitational today and tomorrow. Swim fast and dive well Warriors!
It’s called the “Grandview Invitational” and
the view’s always grand when you’re the first to
finish! Let’s hope that’s the case for our Varsity track and field
Warriors as they head to Legacy Stadium for a big meet tomorrow.
Students -
Come out and support your Arapahoe Varsity baseball team tomorrow at 2:00 p.m. on our
field. The Warriors will be playing Smoky Hill High School and the game
will be sponsored by Max Muscle of Centennial. Max Muscle will have a
tent sent up with some free items to handout to the crowd. Go Warriors!
