General Announcements

Last night the 2015 Prom Royalty Court was announced at the Mr. Arapahoe show. Here are your winners:

Come by at lunch this week, today through Friday and purchase your tickets for after prom.  They are $20 each or $25 at the door.  All the food you can eat, great entertainment and the chance to win amazing prizes!  When you buy your tickets, enter our raffle for the chance to win:  Tickets to Water World, tickets to Elitch's, Rockies tickets, Film on the Rocks passes, passes to the Denver film festival, and a pack of four to indoor go karts!  Good luck!!
Going to prom? Don't wait in long lines to pick up and buy tickets - buy them online now, and pick them up at lunches this week. The only days for cash sales will be tomorrow and Friday, and you know all the procrastinators will be there. Be better, be efficient. Take care of it online and at lunch ASAP!

The PRIDE OF ARAPAHOE Marching Band and Color Guard is having a MANDATORY informational meeting for all interested students and one parent tonight from 7:00-9:00 p.m. in the AHS Theatre!  We will be discussing the upcoming season, band camp dates, and you will hear from some of our current marching band students about their experiences in this performing group.  Come one, come all, and be a part of the musical and visual magic!  No experience???...we will teach you!  Be a part of a winning tradition!  See you there Warriors!  Ask Mr. Funk for more info.

Attention all seniors who have taken Personal Finance class.  Applications for the $1,000 personal finance college scholarship are available in the post grad office.  Applications are due May 1st.  

Do you need job experience? Or something to add to your resume? Do you have too many unscheduled hours on your schedule for next year? If you answered yes to these questions then we have a great opportunity for you. We need student workers for the DECA store for the 2015-16 school year. Students interested in working in the store can pick up an application in the Business Office. Completed applications are due Friday, May 1st. See Mrs. Grantham or Ms. Krueger if you have any questions.

Attention students and parents . . . the school year is ending soon.  Do you have enough money in your lunch account to last until the end of the year?  Do you have a negative balance that needs to be paid?  Now is the time to watch lunch account balances and pay off any past due amounts.  As of May 4, students will not be permitted to charge.  Unsure of your balance?  Ask one of the kitchen staff or check your account at MySchoolBucks.com. 



Athletics

JV girls soccer won 6-0 against Cherokee Trail yesterday.  Great Job girls!  ABK Warrior Invitational JV Tournament starts tonight at 5:00 at AHS.  Come out to cheer on the Warriors. 

The JV girls lacrosse Black team won their game yesterday against the Mullen Mustangs with a score of 11-8.  They are now 10-0.  Way to go!  Their next game is tomorrow at 4:00 p.m. against Columbine at Governor’s Ranch Elementary.  Come and cheer them on!

Come and watch the JV boys baseball team play Overland at 4:00 p.m. today here at AHS.  They are 9 and 3 so far in the season.  Great job boys!

Attention lacrosse fans:  Your Varsity girls lacrosse team has another game today against Conifer High School. Please wish them luck in the hallways today, as they are going for another Win at 4:00 p.m. at Conifer High School! Go girls Lax!

Hey Warriors! The Spear will broadcast the last regular season boys lacrosse game tomorrow against Mountain Vista at 7:00 p.m. The link to the Spear can be found on the Arapahoe homepage. Goooooo Warriors!

All students that would like to audition for the 2015-2016 Arapahoe Toms should plan on attending the Pre-Audition Meeting at Arapahoe High School tonight at 6:00 p.m. in the Forum. Auditions are May 4th-7th at Arapahoe High School.
