*9th & 10th Graders Finish your Language Arts and Math MAP Tests in the Library today until 3:45 PM.

*The Pride of Arapahoe Warrior Marching Band, under the direction of Shawn Funk, will perform their 2019 show at the Douglas County Marching Invitational in preliminary competition Saturday at 1:15 PM.

*Warriors! If you'd like to bring a guest to this year's Road Trip-Themed Homecoming Dance, please pick up a guest form from the activities office or front office. You can also print and download one from the AHS homepage and activities page. Return completed forms to the Activities office. Forms are due on October 27th. 

*Juniors, register now to take the PSAT. Registration closes October 9. Please see Ms. Vail in the counseling department. Cost is $20 -cash or check only. The test is on Wednesday, October 16th.

*PSAT Math prep sessions will be held on Monday, October 7th and Thursday, October 10th from 7:30 to 8:15 AM in room S1423. The English prep sessions will be on Tuesday, October 8th and Friday, October 11th in the tiered classroom E1287. Don’t miss out!

*The College Fairs of Greater Denver will take place at Mountain Vista High School in Highlands Ranch on Saturday from 10:00 AM-12:00 PM. This is a great way to start learning about colleges across the country. Students, parents, and guardians are encouraged to attend!
  
*Hey Warriors, do you love Dodgeball? If so, it's time to register for one of the most exciting events of the year. The Annual DECA Dodgeball tournament is just around the corner. This year's theme is DECA World Cup. So gather 5 boys and 5 girls and choose a country to represent. Registration packets can be picked up today in the Business Department. Only the first 20 teams to register will make it into the tournament. 

*Attention All Juniors and Seniors: The 2020 trip to Washington DC is here again!  This trip is an amazing opportunity to experience Washington DC and Capitol Hill first hand.  If you are interested in learning more please come to a mandatory student/parent interest meeting on Wednesday, October 9th at 6:00 PM in the tiered classroom.  Please see Ms. Winn in the social studies department if you are not able to attend.  

*Seniors!! Financial Aid Information Night is Monday October 14th, 6:30 PM in the Theater. We will have a representative from a local University's Office of Financial Aid, presenting on several topics, including Freshmen Award offers, FAFSA, Scholarships, and more. Please plan to attend, and bring a parent or guardian.

Athletics

*The Arapahoe Boys Varsity Soccer team lost to Smoky Hill yesterday by a score of 3-2. The Arapahoe JV was victorious by a score of 4-0.

*The ABK Fresh/Soph soccer team plays at Overland today at 4:30 PM.  Only four games left in the Fresh/Soph season so get out and support your Warriors.

*Our Field Hockey Warriors travel to Colorado Springs today to battle Liberty High School. Varsity plays at 5:30 PM and JV at 7:00 PM.

*Come and cheer on our Warrior Football team to victory against Cherokee Trail tonight at 7:00 PM at Legacy Stadium. See you there!
