General Announcements

Students who are participating in extracurricular activities after school should be aware that all exterior doors, except the East, West and North cafeteria doors will be locked at 3:30 pm.
All students must have their ID’s at all times during the school day and at all school events.


Just a reminder to get your completed Race for the Cure registration forms back to Key Club by today’s meeting after school.


FBLA Members.  We will be meeting after school today in S1.  Come hear about upcoming projects and get some free food.  Remember your forms and dues need to be turned in by Friday.

Current National Honor Society Members – please plan to attend our regular meeting Wednesday, September 28 at 2:20 p.m. in the Forum.  We will receive information about our planned blood drive from a representative from Bonfils Blood Center.




Athletics-            

Attention all Girls Lacrosse Players:  There is a mandatory meeting on Tuesday, September 27 for all players and their parents.  The meeting will be at 7:00 in the Forum.  Come get your registration and uniform information and hear the Coach's outlook and plans for the coming season.

Attention all Wild Warrior Women!  There is a mandatory meeting today, September 26, right after school at 2:20 in room N6.  You must bring your $10.00 for the homecoming t-shirts.  We will be discussing and finalizing

Congratulations to all members of the Warrior Marching Band for making Arapahoe history on Saturday, at the Pomona Marching Festival!!  Out of the 25 competing Marching Bands, Arapahoe placed first in 5A, and second overall out of all classifications!!!  At prelims, the Warrior Band got a 74.43, just 2 points away from last year's state score!!!  The band placed first in Music, General Effect, and Percussion.  At finals, Arapahoe scored a 73.74, just slightly under 2 points from last year's state score!!  The Warrior Band placed first in Music, Visual General Effect, and Percussion.  Arapahoe also placed second in Overall General Effect and Color Guard.  Way to go Warrior Band!!!!!

Washington University in St. Louis is offering the Danforth Scholarship for students who exhibit a capacity for service and leadership, as well as academic excellence.  Deadline for applications is October 15, 2005.
