General Announcements

As many of you know, your parents can access information about your attendance and grades online through the LPS Campus Portal. Students can access that information as well. Click on the link to the LPS Campus Portal from the AHS Web Site and login using your student id number as your login, and your 6-digit birth date as your password. For example, if your birth date is January 3, 1990, your password would be 010390.


IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR SOPHOMORES, JUNIORS AND SENIORS.  MR. HOLLEY AND THE CLASS RING EXPERTS FROM HERFF JONES WILL BE ON CAMPUS TO TAKE ORDERS FOR YOUR EXCLUSIVE CUSTOM ARAPAHOE HIGH SCHOOL CLASS RING. DEPOSIT INFORMATION AND CLASS RING PACKETS CAN BE PICKED UP IN THE MAIN OFFICE RECEPTION AREA. THE STAFF FROM HERFF JONES WILL SIZE YOUR FINGER FOR A SURE FIT. PLACE YOUR CLASS RING ORDER ON:

ATTENTION ALL ART CLUB MEMBERS!  We are meeting today right after school in Room E5 to work on our Homecoming float plans.  See you all there!!!!


Speech Club Members!  Don't forget!  We are moving our regular meeting time to Tuesdays after school in room C18.  Check the website for more information!

Amnesty International will meet today after school in room C-8.  We are going to set goals and plan events for the upcoming year.  Hope to see you there!


Homecoming Talent Show auditions are coming up!  They are September 13th and 14th after school.  You can sign up for an audition spot on September 6th in the front office.  Any questions?  Se a junior class officer or sponsor.

Attention FRESHMEN!!  Today is the day to VOTE for your class officers. Stop by the voting table in the cafeteria and you must show your Student ID.

SHARING STUDENT INFORMATION WITH MILITARY RECRUITING OFFICERS
Each fall, military recruiting officers request information from Littleton Public Schools of all 11th and 12th grade students for recruiting purposes.  Students and/or parents have the right to request that their information be withheld from release to the military.  If you DO NOT wish to have this information released to the military, please drop by the guidance office and complete the military opt-out form and return it to the guidance office.


Athletics
Congratulations to the Freshmen B Volleyball Team for winning every game in the Chaparral Tournament this past weekend. It was a clean sweep and you all played awesome! Good luck this week with your matches.

GIRLS interested in playing golf need to attend a short meeting on Friday, Sept. 9th after school in room S8. We need all GIRL GOLFERS to attend.  See Mrs. Abner if you can’t make it.


All levels of boy’s basketball players that are not out for a current sport are invited to open gym on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at 6:00.  The weight room is open on Monday, Wednesday and Fridays after school.  See Coach Wilson, Coach Holman or Coach Parnell if you have any questions.

The Arapahoe Football program would like to thank the spirit squads, marching band, administration and most importantly the student body for their outstanding support.  You really made our home opener special, it was an electric environment.  We were happy to get the win.  We would really appreciate your support this week.  We will be at Poudre in Fort Collins, so come on up and help us paint the stadium black and “old” gold.  Thanks again, and GO WARRIORS!
