General Announcements
If you enjoyed the TSA candy during the club café, please plan on joining jus for the first TSA informational meeting of the year on Monday Sept 19 in room E10. Hey all you seniors! The first WWW, Wild Warrior Women, meeting will be held on Tuesday the 13th in N-6 right after school. We will be discussing homecoming and other fun events. Hope to see you there!
French Club will be having its second meeting on Monday, September 12, in Room C-20 right after school! Please come! We will be discussing jour next fund raiser, or dinner, and the next movie! We need your input!!
Attention NHS members! The first meeting of the year is scheduled for Wednesday, September 14, at 2:30 pm in room E9 (The Tiered Classroom). All members should plan to be there!!!

This fall’s play has begun. Rebel without a Cause is looking for a new poster design. If you are interested, submit your design to Mr. Earley’s office by today at lunch.

Tuesday: Colorado State University at 7:30; Wyoming Tech at 10:00; Knox College at 11:30.
Thursday: Hope College, Michigan at 8:00.

Athletics
The boy’s varsity tennis team lost to Regis yesterday. The JV team lost a close match against Regis by a score of 2-4. Winning for the JV were:
Nick Sebesta and Roy Teng; Jeff Gunnell and Alex Stinson. Coach Skarwecki has requested that the JV team arrive at the AHS courts by 3:45 today for our team pictures, so please be prompt.
All levels of boy’s basketball players that are not out for a current sport are invited to open gym on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at 6:00. The weight room is open on Monday, Wednesday and Fridays after school. See Coach Wilson, Coach Holman or Coach Parnell if you have any questions.
Attention all girls interested in playing golf this spring. You must attend a short meeting on Friday after school in room S8. See Mrs. Abner if you cannot make it.
Congratulations to golfers Ben Scully, Eric Finley, Dalton Becky, Steven Moore, and David Holtgrewe who finished in 8th place out of 25 teams at the Pinery Country Club Tuesday. The team was led by Captain Ben Scully’s 76 which was 13th place out of 113 golfers.
The Arapahoe JV Softball team earned its 2nd victory this season, winning in the bottom of the 7th, 9to 8 against Cherokee Trails High School. The game ended with a throw from Rachel Hirsh to get the tying run and 3rd out at the plate. Big hitters helping AHS in the 7th were Kaylyn Walsh, Carrie Rubida, Lauren Leonard, Brandy Zummo and Katy Holtgreive.
Congratulations to the Freshman A volleyball team for their victory over Rangeview last night! Arapahoe won in two games; 25-21, 25-16. Good luck in your game tonight at Eaglecrest.
Congratulations to golfers Ben Scully, and Dalton Becky, Kevin Reichman, Eric Finley, and Steven Moore who finished 2nd out of 13 Continental League teams at Perry Park Country Club yesterday. The team was let by Dalton Becky’s 76 and Ben Scully’s 77. Congrats to golfers Nick Davis, Levi Knutson, Zane Nuttall, Ben Sauer and Alex Muramoto who finished first out of 12 Continental League JV teams at Spring Valley Golf Course. The team was led by Nick Davis’ 73 which was the lowest score out of 70 golfers.

Attention all Culture Club Members, we are kicking off our Annual Paper Cranes Donation charity work for the Make a Wish Foundation. We will be having a crash course in Origami and plenty of great food at the meeting. This is the last chance to pay your fifteen dollars for your club T-shirt. The meeting will be held Thursday September 15th in room C-20.
