General Announcements

Attention Chess Players! Remember to come to the Enrichment Room for chess practice during lunch today.

Attention FBLA members.  Our next meeting is Monday at 2:20 in S1.  Don’t forget to bring your forms and dues or turn them in to the business office.  See you there!

French Club will be having it’s second meeting on Monday, September 12, in Room C-20 right after school! Please come! We will be discussing our next fund raiser, our dinner, and the next movie!   We need your input!!

If you are of the Jewish faith and would like information about the Rose Foundation drop by the Guidance Office for an informational brochure. 

The first bowling meeting has been moved up to the 14th (instead of the 28th). Whether you have signed up at the Club Café or not, come and join us each Wednesday at the AMF Littleton Lanes. For any other questions please contact Club Sponsor, Dr. Godwin.

Attention NHS members! The first meeting of the year is scheduled for Wednesday, September 14, at 2:30 pm in room E9 (The Tiered Classroom). All members should plan to be there!!!

Attention all juniors- If you would like to be in the junior class skit or help with our float for homecoming, the meeting is this Saturday. See a junior class officer for more information.

This fall’s play has begun.  Rebel without a Cause is looking for a new poster design.  If you are interested, submit your design to Mr. Earley’s office by Friday at lunch.

Attention Baseball Boosters!  There is a booster club meeting tonight, Thursday September 8th, at 7PM in the Forum.
  
Athletics

Congratulations to Warrior Varsity Volleyball.  They defeated Standley Lake last night in three games with 9 kills by Rachel Stemper, 14 assists from Kim Goodwin, and 5 service aces from Cassy Hanneman.  They open at home tonight against Rangeview at 7:00.  Come and cheer them on!

THE BOYS VARSITY SOCCER TEAM DEFEATED ARVADA WEST LAST NIGHT IN ABK’S HOME OPENER. SCORING FOR THE WARRIORS WERE; CHRIS MADIGAN AND JEREMY HAYES. THE TEAM WILL PLAY MULLEN IN THE SEMI-FINAL OF THE WARRIOR TOURNAMENT TONIGHT AT LPS STADIUM AT 7: 30PM



Congratulations to the Freshman A volleyball team for an awesome victory over Standley Lake last night.  They won in two quick games: 25-13, 25-9.
Come see them play Rangeview tonight at home at 5:30.

Attention all girls interested in playing golf this spring. You must attend a short meeting on Friday after school in room S8. See Mrs. Abner if you cannot make it.

The boys varsity tennis team lost yesterday by a score of 1-6.  Winning for the varsity was Eric Johnson.  The JV team won 6-0.  Winning for the JV team were:  Matt and Ryan Beckett; Nick Sebesta and Roy Teng; Matt Shaw and Alex Henze; Matt Fons and Doug Bui; Mick Mrozek and Luke Vogel; Jeff Gunnell and Alex Stinson.  Today the Warriors play Regis.  This is a reminder to all tennis team players that team pictures will be taken at 4 pm tomorrow at the AHS courts.
