General Announcements


Attention all artist! Tonight is the night! The "Art Attack" reception and awards are this evening at 7:00 in the Theater Hallway.

Come Audition for the 2006/2007 Arapahoe Color Guard. We are an award winning and very competitive team that has a fun family-like atmosphere! Through dancing, acting, and spinning flags, rifles, and sabers, we entertain our audiences creating and maintaining an Arapahoe tradition of excellence! Color Guard is a year round activity. In 2005 we were State Champions in Winter Guard and in this past winter season we were State Champion Runner-ups!!!! Tues the 25th 6:30-8:30 CG Camp in the Main Gym, $25 registration fee

Are you interested in a career in Sports Medicine? Does helping athletes, rehabbing injuries, physical therapy and injury prevention intrigue you? If so, take Sports Medicine class. Registration is through interview only. Sign-up for an interview with Mrs. Bradley in the Physical Education department for the Fall or Spring semester next year.

Hey Arapahoe. Have you taken a lot of business classes? If so, you may be eligible for a Business Certificate of Proficiency. Certificates are awarded for Accounting, Computers, Management and Marketing. Pick up an application in the business office. Applications are due Thursday, April 20th. See a business teacher if you have any questions

Attention all students!! Would you like my job? Audition to be one of the voices of Arapahoe and read the announcements once a week. Sign up for auditions in the main office by April 21st. Auditions will be held April 25th.





Athletics

The JV Gold tennis team defeated Cherry Creek yesterday 9-2. The JV Gold record is now 6-1.

JV Black Lacrosse trounced Gateway last night 16-1. Blake Bescanson led the scoring with 3 goal while Daniel Dodd took the most shots scoring 2 goals.
Big thanks to our great Defense Devon Minshall, Matthew Weems, Jesse Oeinck, Ryan Elliott goalie supreme being backed up by Daniel Curtis.

Congratulations to Leslie McGetrick, Megan Ray and Aubrey Dreessen for playing one of their best rounds of golf yesterday at the Pinery. Leslie McGetrick had the teams best score of an 88. Megan and Aubrey both shot in the 90’s! Keep it up ladies!!

Please support our Warrior swimmers and divers today at 4 PM. The year's dual meet against the Regis Raiders is the most eagerly anticipated dual meet in Colorado High School swimming and diving. Don't miss it!
