General Announcements

ACTS Applications for next year are due today in the Guidance Office. Please see Mr. Wadsworth with any questions.

Attention all Advanced Placement Students: It is time to pay for your AP exams! See Mrs. Bresloff in the Guidance Center by April 14th. Please refer to the memo.

Prom Talent Show try-outs are next Monday and Tuesday so if you have an act, sign up for a try-out time now!

Attention National Honor Society Members! Elections for next year will be held in the Forum after school tomorrow, April 5th. All NHS juniors are encouraged to attend. See you there.

Congratulations to our Destination ImagiNation teams! The Improv team placed 2nd and the How'd That Happen team won first place. Both teams will compete in the State Tournament at the University of Denver on April 29th.

The Arapahoe Rescue Patrol is looking for a few good young men and women. AHS freshmen, sophomores and juniors, this is your big opportunity! Attend a briefing meeting on Wednesday, April 5 at 7PM or get information online. More information is available in the Post Grad Center.

Outstanding students of AHS: Porter Adventist Hospital is organizing its summer Junior Volunteer program. It is a great opportunity to serve our community, help others and explore the health care field. More information is available in the Post Grad Center.

Junior girls: Wellesley College invites you to Junior Open Campus Day on Saturday, April 29th. It is a day of exploration and information gathering at a well-respected women's college. The Post Grad Center has more information.

SENIORS ATTENDING COLLEGE IN COLORADO IN THE FALL: Apply now for one of the 125 available scholarships being awarded by CollegeInvest in the coming weeks. The total amount of money up for grabs is $400,000 and the application deadline is next Wednesday, April 5th. No time to waste! Come to the Post Grad Center.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED at The Wildlife Experience Museum on Saturday, April 15th, to help children celebrate the coming of spring at the Spring EGGstravaganza! Volunteer openings are limited to first come first served. More information is available in the Post Grad Center.

The 2006 summer school catalogs are now available in the guidance office and the front office.

Juniors and Seniors if you are taking a date from another school to the Prom and/or After Prom, please pick up and fill out the form for you and your date. The forms are located in either the Activities office/Dean of Students, Attendance office, or the Main office. The deadline to return this form is May 3.

Athletics

There is a boys basketball meeting tomorrow, April 4th, for all players not in a spring sport after school in the main gym

JV Black Lacrosse won another game last night against Douglas County. The combined effort of Komatz and Dodd for a total of 11 points created a big win 12 to 5.
