General Announcements
Come enjoy a great band concert tonight starting at 7pm in the Theater. Featured bands will include Concert Band, Symphonic Band, and The Wind Ensemble. Our all state senior trumpeter, Colton Crandell, will perform the famous “Carnival of Venice” cornet solo – you don’t want to miss it! Also, starting at 6pm will be numerous small ensemble performances. Our award winning Winter Percussion Ensemble will be featured during this pre-concert ensemble part of the evening.
Attention sophomores and juniors. If you’re interested in serving with LINK Crew next year, remember that your applications are due Friday by 2:13p.m. to Mrs. Ackerman or Mr. Trotter.
Attention Speech club members! If you are interested in competing as NFL Qualifiers and have not already been entered, please come by to see Ms. Graham or Mr. Robinson after school TODAY! We have had five slots added to our original entry!
ATTENTION ALL ARAPAHOE ARTISTS!!! The 3rd Annual "Art Attack" and the Southglenn Library Art Contest are fast approaching. Check the posters in the hall to see the categories that you may enter artwork. Best of Show is given in each category with cash prizes. This is our end of the year "show of shows"! Time and space is limited so get your entries in NOW!!!! If you have questions, see the Art Department.
Athletics
ATTENTION GUY CHEERS: Please make sure you have returned your permission slip, waiver and check for your t-shirt to Mrs. Scoglio in the main office no later than Friday, March 23rd. You will not be able to participate if they are not turned in.
The boys Varsity1 Lacrosse team will take on Heritage tomorrow, March 16th at 7:30 pm at DU Stadium. Admission prices will be $2 for students with an AHS student ID or $3 for students with no AHS student ID. Adult admission will be $5. Go Warriors! Please park in Lot 103 which is located west on Bucktail.
