General Announcements

Juniors and Seniors are invited to sign up for the ASVAB Career Exploration Program – a comprehensive career exploration and planning program designed to help students learn about their interest and explore the world of work. All you have to do to take advantage of this program is take the ASVAB. Testing is scheduled at our school on April 11 at 2:30 pm. Do your best and enjoy all the benefits the ASVAB Program has to offer. For more information or to sign up, see Mrs. Oeinck in the Guidance Office.

Time is ticking! The Muse magazine, Arapahoe’s voice in art, poetry and writing is coming soon! Muse members note our meeting is tomorrow Wednesday, March 21st after school in C-16. Bring friends and calendars!

This Thusrday, March 22nd, come during lunch, your off hour, or during dinner to CiCi’s Pizza. The freshman class will be raising money for a future prom, so everyone should come and support them. Make sure to tell the cashier that you are supporting Arapahoe and remember to come and eat at CiCi’s anytime on Thursday, March 22nd.

There will be a lost and found table in the cafeteria this week. Please check the table for any missing belongings.

REMINDER! The deadline for turning in ACTS applications is Thursday, March 22nd. You can pick up applications in the guidance office. See your counselor for more information.

Attention students interested in the ACTS Teacher Cadet program: There will be a representative here on Thursday, March 22 at 10:30am in the counseling office.

Athletics

AHS Level III boys’ lax is off to a great start with a 7 to 4 win over Mountain Vista. A fantastic season opener; we expect great things this season. The whole team showed great skill, teamwork and heart. Goalie: Scott Thompson and his defense had many saves and shut Mountain Vista out in the 2nd half. Goals were scored by: Anthony Damico, Dylan Smith, Tyler Goodman, Alex Knopf, Ben Knopf, Trevor Ahbe.

Another great game by AHS LEVEL III!!! AHS won over Castle View 9 to 2.
Good defense by Goalie Scott Thompson (9) saves and the whole defensive team. Goals were scored by: Anthony Damico 1, Dylan Smith 3, Trevor Ahbe 1, Tyler Goodman 2, Ben Knopf 2; Assist: Anthony Damico, Alex Knopf, Dylan Smith, Ben Knopf, Dan Cross

ATTENTION GUY CHEERS: Please make sure you have returned your permission slip, waiver and check for your t-shirt to Mrs. Scoglio in the main office no later than Friday, March 23rd. You will not be able to participate if they are not turned in.
