General Announcements

REMINDER! The deadline for turning in ACTS applications is today, March 22nd. You can pick up applications in the guidance office. See your counselor for more information.

Attention students interested in the ACTS Teacher Cadet program: There will be a representative here today, March 22 at 10:30am in the counseling office.

AHS ARTISTS!!!!! "Art Attack" is fast approaching. Get your entries in NOW!!! If you have questions, see someone in the Art Department

Come today during lunch, your off hour, or during dinner to CiCi’s Pizza. The freshman class will be raising money for a future prom, so everyone should come and support them. Make sure to tell the cashier that you are supporting Arapahoe and remember to come and eat at CiCi’s anytime today.

There is a lost and found table in the cafeteria this week. Please check the table for any missing belongings.

Attention Warriors! Do you love dancing the night away? Well you’re in luck; Student Council and the Remember Club are sponsoring “A Night to Remember Dance” on April 13th from 7-10 pm in the cafeteria! Mark this date in your calendar. You don’t want to miss it!

Do you want to help the locally based Save Darfur Coalition? Come to our first meeting today, March 22nd and help make sure that this fundraiser can happen! We need your support Arapahoe! Meet in C-8 right after school. Please come and bring a friend!!

Hey Warriors! Don’t forget that tickets are now on sale during lunch for the following Wish Week events: The CU Buffoons concert on Tuesday, April 3rd at 7 pm in the AHS theater, the Bobblehead Buddha concert on Wednesday, April 4th at 7 pm in the cafeteria, and the Seniors vs. Staff Basketball Game on Thursday, April 5th at 7 pm in the gym. All events are $3 for students and $5 for adults. Don’t forget that Wish Week is the week after Spring Break – start saving your money to donate now!

Juniors and Seniors are invited to sign up for the ASVAB Career Exploration Program – a comprehensive career exploration and planning program designed to help students learn about their interest and explore the world of work. All you have to do to take advantage of this program is take the ASVAB. Testing is scheduled at our school on April 11 at 2:30 pm. Do your best and enjoy all the benefits the ASVAB Program has to offer. For more information or to sign up, see Mrs. Oeinck in the Guidance Office.

Auditions for the 2007-2008 AHS Choirs will be held during the week of April 23rd. Audition information and sign up sheets are available in the choir room. Please see Ms. Parmenter for further information.

Seniors: Spring break is a great time to check out scholarships on Naviance. And, especially for CSU applicants, check out the scholarship for First Generation students. Are you visiting colleges during Spring break? Stop by the Post Grad Center for “Tips for your college visit”.

Athletics

ATTENTION GUY CHEERS: Please make sure you have returned your permission slip, waiver and check for your t-shirt to Mrs. Scoglio in the main office no later than tomorrow, March 23rd. You will not be able to participate if they are not turned in.

Congratulations to Varsity Girls Lacrosse. They defeated Heritage 10-6 is a very hard-hitting game last night. Scoring for your Warriors were Adison Rounds and Kate Spring each with 3 goals, Chloe Adelmann and Megan O'Donnell each with 2 goals, and Hadley Bush and Adison Rounds each with an assist. Allie Ernsten was strong in goal. Thank you Arapahoe, for coming out and supporting the team.
