In celebration of National Poetry Month, AHS and the Muse (Arapahoe’s Literary Arts Magazine) are holding an iPoem contest. To participate, you must compose an original poem and create a digital project that – at a minimum – includes audio of your poetry. You will need to submit your project by 3:00 pm on Monday, April 28th. Entries will be judged by a semi-distinguished panel of AHS Language Arts teachers and the winner will receive an iPod Shuffle. For more details, see the AHS website or your Language Arts teacher.

Speaking of the Muse, the event you’ve all been waiting for is tonight, at 7:00 pm in the Forum. You will see some of the most talented artists, poets and writers at Arapahoe share their gifts. Come and see your friends read their work and show their art. There will be refreshments, and all are welcome… and best of all, it’s FREE! Please join us tonight at the annual Muse Showcase night in the Forum to celebrate our beautiful new Volume 6 edition of the Muse!!
