This week we are celebrating Teacher & Staff Appreciation Week. Students, be sure to thank your teachers for all that they do for you.
Come on out to tomorrow night's Spring Jazz Concert starting at 7pm in the cafeteria. Jazz I, The Dry Creek Dixie Dawgs, and Jazz II will be featured. The concert is free and complimentary desserts and beverages will be served throughout the evening.
"There will be a brief TSA meeting tonight (Wed) after school at 2:20 to pass out information for TSA Nationals. This is for ALL TSA students looking to attend the TSA Nationals conference in Orlando this summer."
Attention Key Club: the Mineral Street clean up has been rescheduled for Wednesday, 5/7/08. Come to next Monday’s meeting to help out.
Attention all Warriors and Habitat for Humanity members: If you are interested in building with Habitat for Humanity this summer, please come to a meeting Monday, May 5 after school in room C-18. We are building our own house and welcome all the help we can get! Builders must be at least 16 years old.
Attention Senior Ladies & Wild Warrior Women: this Friday is your chance to dress up and show your spirit! Come to school Friday, May 2, in an out of the ordinary outfit to support Habitat for Humanity’s Wacky Tacky Dance. Make your outfit wacky, but remember to stay within the dress code and save the craziest for the dance. With only 13 days left, let’s see your spirit Seniors!
SENIORS: The JEM Scholarship is a prestigious scholarship exclusively for Arapahoe Students. The application is now available in the Guidance Center. If you have any questions about this special opportunity, please see your counselor.
Athletics
The Arapahoe boys swimming and diving team will host both Lewis Palmer and Ft Collins today at 4PM. This triangular meet is expected to be a fast and competitive meet. Don’t miss it!
Attention Students: The Special Olympic Soccer for Arapahoe will be playing at half time at the girl’s varsity soccer game tonight at 7:00 at LPS. They would all love for EVERYONE to come out and watch them show off their new skills and cheer them on. It’s going to be fun so we want to the stands to be filled!!!
Congrats to the Girls JV Soccer team who clinched the Continental League Championship yesterday with a convincing 7 – 0 victory over Chaparral.
