Attention Students,
In order to comply with state reporting to the Colorado Department of Education, Arapahoe will be showing a 15 minute presentation on Cyber Safety. We will run the video for two days during both lunches in the cafeteria. This will take place on Wednesday, April 30th and Thursday, May 1st. If you are unable to catch the presentation at lunch, it will also be shown in the library each period throughout these two days as well. It contains important information designed to help you play smart and stay safe on the Internet. A link to the presentation can also be found on the AHS Website.

Effective April 26, this Saturday, a new ordinance will be in place which makes it unlawful for any minor to possess any tobacco products within 2000 ft of any educational institution within the unincorporated Arapahoe County. This means that if you are under 18 years old and you are caught with tobacco on school grounds or near the school you will be fined and mandated to make a court appearance.

The Colorado department of Education is accepting nominations for the 2009 Colorado Teacher of the Year. Information is available in the Attendance Office.
